Detention 3

Aurora's Pov

After some time teacher demitrey walked into the class followed by three boys from our group leaving one empty seat.

"Where's your sister Damien?" Principal demitrey asked the vampire from the other day.

"Don't know" he said coldly.

"Here I am" his sister said sauntering into the room "And what's up with the arrangement, are we in some sort of conference meeting?"

"Take your seat Amber" principal demitrey said ignoring her statement.

"So since you all know the reason why you are here, I won't waste yours and my time explaining what you did wrong" principal demitrey said before giving us the rules of detention. "And since the aim of this detention is to help you guys cooperate and look out for one another as a group, I'm going to leave you all to talk amongst yourselves and get to know each other better and failure to do as asked will result to an even more serious punishment" he warned before walking to the door "And just so you know at the end of the one week detention there will be a presentation in which each one of you will tell me what you've learnt about your team mates" he said.

"So it is a conference meeting then" the female vampire mumbled.

"Take it however you want Amber" principal demitrey said before walking out.

It has been over an hour and no one has uttered anything and I don't think anyone is going to. "Well since no one is going to say anything, or do anything I might as well practice my magic. At least it's better than doing nothing". I thought to myself.

I then walked to the window since this class is just by the side of the school garden and looked outside and saw some of the flowers in the school garden had withered due to the lack of sunshine in the academy. The academy is always cloudy and so I stretched out my hands while murmuring the spells giving some light and energy to the flowers through magic with the hope of bringing them back to life. After some seconds the flowers had it colours back and looked so healthy but suddenly all the flowers in the garden including the trees just dried up and turned to dust before my eyes. I became so shocked and confused because there is not even a single plant left in the entire garden, the very garden that was filled with different flowers, trees and other essential plants. "Ok what just happened". I asked myself in panic

I immediately walked to my seat and asked Lilith to come with me to the window.

"Ok so what's wrong" she asked when we got there.

"Ok so look outside the window" I told her.

"Ok" she said looking outside the window. "I don't see anything, and what I'm I even supposed to be looking for" she said.

"The garden, I turned everything to dust" I said to her.

"Wow" she said looking outside again. "How?".

"I saw some withered flowers and wanted to bring them back to life with magic, at first it worked but then suddenly all the flowers dried up and turned to dust" I said to her. "I don't know what to do and I thought I was getting better at controlling my powers". I said my eyes brimming with tears.

"Ok calm down" she said "did you try bringing them back" she asked

"No I haven't and even if I did I'm pretty sure I can't do anything about it because they aren't flowers anymore but dust" I said to her.

"Ok this is bad" she said.

"I know" I said.

"What are we going to do now?" she asked.

"I don't know" I replied.

"Ok erm there is a witch here why don't we ask her for help?" Lilith asked.

"Do you think she would help? She is angry at us". I said to her.

"Well we have to try" Lilith said.

"Ok" I said before walking to the girl with hazel eyes.

"Can I speak to you for a moment over there" I asked her pointing towards the window.

she looked reluctant but still agreed before standing up and walking with me towards the window.

"What do you want to talk to me about" she asked.

"She accidentally turned the garden into dust and we were wondering if you could help restore it back to how it was before" Lilith said without beating about the bush.

She looked outside the window then looked back at me.

"How did you do that" she asked looking at me perplexed.

"I just cast a spell for resurrecting dead plants, at first it worked but then that happened" I said pointing towards the garden.

"Do you feel weak?" She asked.

"No, I feel normal" i said.

"That's weird, after such a spell you are supposed to be very weak because you would be transferring the magical energy from your body directly to them" she said. "And I would have loved to help but I can't"

"Why? Lilith and I asked in unison.

"It will drain my powers and make me weak, the spell to resurrect withered plants is powerful, destroying an entire garden is even more powerful but restoring it from dust might not only drain my powers but I risk losing them for a period of time" she said.

"Isn't there a way you can do it" Lilith asked.

"There is a way but you'll have to share your magical energy with me since the spell doesn't drain your energy" she said.

"How am I going to do that" I asked her.

"When I'm casting the spell I'll gradually start losing my energy, so at that moment you can help by concentrating your magical energy directly to me like how you did with the flowers" she said.

"I'm not sure about that" I said nervously. "What if you end up like the garden".

"That won't happen" she said confidently.

"And how are you so sure" Lilith asked.

"Because you don't have to recite the resurrection spell or any other spell, you just have to summon your energy then transfer it to me without casting any spell" she said.

"Are you sure about this?" I asked her feeling unsure.

"Yes and we better hurry up before someone notice what is wrong" she said.

"Ok" I said. She immediately started casting the spells and slowly the flowers and the trees were emerging from the ground and sprouting, just like she said she was getting weak, so I immediately started concentrating the energy from my body and started transferring it to her and soon enough the garden was back to how it was and I couldn't be more glad.

"Thanks" I said to her.

"Yh it's ok and by the way the name is Sabrina" she said then walked back to the table.

"I'm never trying that again" I said to Lilith while looking outside the window.

"It wasn't that bad" Lilith said chuckling.

"It was" I said walking back to the table feeling upset with Lilith behind me.

It's been over two hours now and nobody has said anything and the detention would soon come to an end, if this continues, we will all have to face another punishment. "Curse my luck". I said within myself.

"Ok I can't take it anymore, if this continues" Sabrina said gesturing towards all of us "we all are going to face an even greater punishment, and as much as I would prefer not knowing anyone of you, i have no choice and so I feel we should all get to know each other because I have more important things to do than to be stuck in detention throughout the entire year with you guys" she said.

"Well then keep feeling" the female vampire said smirking.

"My name is Sabrina, I am a witch and the dumb vampire over there is my roommate" she said pointing towards the female vampire.

"Who you calling dumb?" The vampire asked.

"Do you seriously want me to answer that?" Sabrina said.

"You know what, I'm going to....."

"My name is Lilith, I'm a demon" Lilith said cutting the vampire off.

"My name is Jace, I'm a werewolf" the blonde guy with the bluish gray eyes we met in the bus said while looking at Hydra.

"My name is Hydra, I am a dragon shifter" Hydra said staring back at him with a blush on her face.

"I'm Eva, a mermaid" Eva said.

"Amber and I'm certain you all already know what type of supernatural I am" the female vampire said with a bored expression on her face.

"I'm Raphael and I'm an angel" a guy with brown hair and gray eyes said with so much enthusiasm making me wonder what he's so excited about.

"Jake, lion shifter" another guy with curly brown hair and brown eyes said.

"Blake, lion shifter" a guy who looks alot like the first one with same curly hair and brown eyes said. I'm guessing they're twins.

"Aurora" I said.

"And what are you exactly?" Amber said staring at me in mockery, which I didn't understand why but I chose to ignore her since I'm still not over what happened yet.

"I asked you a question" she said not giving up.

"And she chose not to reply" Lilith said.

"Whatever" Amber said.

"Yh just back off" Lilith said. The other two guys didn't utter a word. The vampire who saved me and another guy whom surprisingly I'm just noticing. And looking at him I'm beyond shocked that I haven't noticed him before now. He was just like a Greek god or even better. His thick lashes, his broad shoulders, his lips, his messy hair, his huge biceps, he was just too good looking and perfect but he looks cold and dangerous and there something about him that gives me the chills. His aura just is so intimidating and screams danger, his eyes are as cold as a glacier. Even with his cold and intimidating looks, he still looks so mesmerizing and breathtaking, I can't even believe he is real. If I thought the vampire from the other day looked cold and emotionless then I was wrong because compared to this guy he is not. He emits so much coldness and darkness but with all that he still looks so attractive. And there is something about his eyes, I have heard about different species and their different eye colors but I've never heard of any specie with striking blue eyes like his.

"Let's go detention is over " Lilith said waking me up from my trance.

"It is?" I asked because everyone is still seated.

"Well for the both of us, it is" She said.

"How?" I asked confused.

"Well don't tell me you prefer staying in this boring class looking at irritating and smelling faces other than doing something else" she said quite rudely "because I'm quite fed up of this graveyard"

"If we leave now, we would be in trouble, so why don't we just wait for a while" I said trying to reason with her.

"Nobody is interested in doing anything nor getting to know each other as asked. We only just got to know each others name and some certain people aren't even cooperating, so either way we all are getting punished so I think she's right, rather than being here in a class that's no better than a graveyard we can just ditch detention, not like teacher demitrey is coming back anyways" Sabrina said nonchalantly.

"Well this is the very first time you said something reasonable witchy. " Amber said staring at her fingers.

"In my opinion this is a bad idea" the Angel said earning him a glare from Lilith and Amber.

"No one asked for your opinion your holiness" Lilith.

"Exactly"Amber said smirking. "And with that said see you all at dinner" she said before sauntering out of the class

"Ok so let's go" Lilith said to Hydra, Eva and I.

"You guys can go on without me, I will meet up with you guys later" Hydra said before walking out of the class with the werewolf by her side.

"Well that was surprising" Eva said chuckling before standing up. "Ok let's go"

"I think you guys should go without me as well, we'll see at dinner" I said to the both of them.

"Why? Do you have a mate you want to talk to or make out with?" Eva asked smirking.

"Ha ha, so funny" I said smiling.

"Ok see you later" Lilith and Eva said before walking out. Shortly after the vampire and the two Lion shifter walked out leaving just Sabrina, the Angel, the guy with the dark aura and I.

"You have something to say, spill it out" Sabrina said staring at me.

"What?" I asked.

"You stayed back cause you wanted to talk to me, so talk I don't bite" she said smiling softly.

"Well I just wanted to say if you don't mind that is, I would really love it if you could teach me some spells" I said.

"Ok" she said. "I don't mind cause that would mean having someone to talk to, I'm always bored and my roommate isn't the best person to talk to".

"Ohk" I said.

"Let's go, we'll start from the basics" she said before pulling me out of the class looking quite excited.
