(7)Welcome to my humble mountain abode!

-3 days later, safe in the mountains-

"So! Here it is! My house!" Qiu feng smiled and turned to look at Guang Chen.

"What do you think?"

"I think it needs a good wash." The voice was slightly cold and withdrawn but Qiu Feng didn't mind.

"Well it'll get better!"

A bright smile covering his face, his true character as a fan and bubbly personality had shown through. Somehow it had thawed the ice between the two rather quickly. The next few hours the two spent sorting some things out. Qiu Feng had taken it up one himself to introduce the house to Guang Chen, not that he knew it very well himself.

After eating, they both had very little to eat as they traveled hurriedly, trying their best to put distance between them and that bastard. After a full meal they began to….clean.

'Wow.Wow. Woooow! I'm cleaning! With a real life assassin who's also my favorite person!'

A little overwhelmed and worried about Guan Chen's leg Qiu Feng didn't allow him to do much but they talked. Qiu Feng spoke about what he remembered about this world and his experience after waking up.

"Well their i was all alone and extremely weak from hunger and a high fever. Actually i suspect i lost my memories from that fever. Well any way i stumbled around and found the kitchen. And just my luck the whole thing was empty! Well except a few pots of spices. Aha…those guys really didn't want me to live. Even taking all the items they could sell, aha."

After sighing several times Qiu Feng paused for a moment.

"Hey, um this may seem a bit awkward but…would you want to change your..name?"

Guan Chen's face froze over slightly. This wasn't his original name, after his parents had died he had left and became part of that assassin group. Their he had been given a different name and so his old name had been buried in the past. Even now he always thought of it as the past, a part of him that would always stay buried.

Looking at the slightly uneasy young man he thought quietly. These past few days really had lowered his suspensions of the young man in front of him, though not completely, he was pretty relaxed.

Qiu Feng stoped talking and watched Guan a Chen's face, he had relaxed a lot around him so he had decided to ask a question he been thinking for a long time.

'Thankfully he began to put his guard down, other wise how would i be able to get him to stay with me?'

The anxious feelings that had been poisoning his thoughts settled.

Guan Chen watched the young mans face go from dark and grim to peaceful and decided to ignore it, the young man probably didn't want anyone prying into his affairs, no matter how much he acted enthusiastically he could sense the man had built a mental wall.

Instead he answered the question, his gaze drifting to look at the surrounding greenery bursting with life.

"Sigh. Well i guess it wouldn't hurt. Do you have any ideas?" He eyes swept over the young mans face and body again.

The young man was skinny and in dire need of food. His cheeks were sunken in which made his bright black eyes stick out. His body wasn't trained but was very quick and had good reflexes, as well as light footing. He had long black hair and a thin face, definitely a hidden beauty.

The day passed peacefully and it almost made those previous night and days of being locked up a dream. But he knew it wasn't.

Suddenly a hand approached his face, startled he looked up, expecting to see Wing Lius face. When the young mans face appeared instead his eye refocused and he realized that he hadn't payed attention to the young mans words and had been lost in thought.

The young man peered at him and the spoke again,

"It's been a few days, and i need to take a bath, please come and help." His eyes crinkled and his grin seemed as dazzling as the suns early morning rays. His face had been good looking originally, and although still thin he wasn't a bag of bones like he had been after waking up.

The two moved quietly and quickly, a bit uncoordinated but still successful. After they filled the large wooden tub with water the sun reached afternoon. The heat was picking up and after all that work a thin layer of sweat was on both their cloths and body's.

Qiu Feng paused and looked at Guan Chen.

"Well… do u want a bath too? Would you mind bathing together?"Although he said this in a light tone his eyes were carefully searching the other for any signs of distress or discomfort. Unfortunately he found none, the man before him was a trained assassin after all.

Guan Chen felt the others eye studying him and after a short consideration he felt slightly anxious but he pressed down the uneasy feeling. Subconsciously he wasn't happy with his body, and even wanted to avoid looking at it. Not just himself but he also wanted to avoid others looking at it too. But after thinking about how the young man had met him he felt his other thoughts were silly.

Taking off his robe slowly he turned his back and removed his shoes and pants as well. After arriving they had bought several more pairs of clothing. Although rough and worn they were better than nothing. He moved swiftly to the wooden tub and didn't look behind him, his back tense.

'Well…umm i didn't expect that he'd really do it. Oh well all i have to do it keep him from getting too uncomfortable. After all i wouldn't want him disliking me so much he left me all alone.'

He removed his robes a bit uneasy and shuffled to the tub. Reaching a leg over he cautiously sat down

unconsciously drawing his legs up to his chest. Partly out of embarrassment and shame at being seen naked but also because of his body. He was thin and boney, and without a mirror around he wasn't quite sure what his whole body looked like besides what his front. What he'd did know was it was a far cry from the good looking body in front of him.

Guan Chen's body was fit and well toned, muscles covering his whole body, proof of his harsh training. He was handsome and alluring at the same time, if he didn't think about what he had been through recently he might have even gotten hard.

'Wow…am i gay? Well actually i was a girl who liked boys…and now i'm a man…so i like boys? Or would i like girls because i'm in a mans body?'

As Qiu Fengs thoughts wandered his body unconsciously relaxed. This whole process had been watched by Guan Chen.

Guan Chen had watched the young man take off his robes and then had turned his head, trying not to embarrass the other. When the young man had settled down he was a bit surprised that the other didn't take up much room. In fact the tub wasn't crowded at all, maybe because it originally was official's vacation resident's the tub was large. And although they weren't touching their was still a few inches of space in between them.

It was probably due to Qiu Fengs skinny body and how he had moved his legs up to his chest.

The young boy had looked at him silently and then had gone into a daze, staring off at the green trees over his shoulder.

The cool water had swiftly cooled Guan Chen down and he had relaxed. Thoughtfully looking at the pale young man in front of him who was thin and short he suddenly had a thought.

"Qiu Feng, how old are you?Do you remember?"

Qiu Feng stiffened for a moment, and his face unconsciously became cold and hard, memories had suddenly surfaced. Their was a panicked atmosphere and harsh yelling. A old fat mans face appeared and some ineligible words were yelled at him, the memories blurred and then he was in a wooden carriage rattling harshly. The sky was grey and the mood was low, mud stained the edges of his gowns and boots, men and woman trudged behind him caring all sorts of things.

Then the memories blurred again, the weather turned cold and snow was falling slowly piling up, it made travel hard and the cold dug into his bones. He was unable to relax or sleep well, hunger had become a regular thing and all the people surrounding him had thin faces and heavy looks.
