The overwhelming sense of pain

As I opened the door to what should have been the guild I was hit with the overwhelming stench of death I could feel my stomach churning wanting to push my lunch that I had just 2 hours earlier up and out of my mouth due to the overwhelming smell but there was no time for my brain to even register this because the second I opened the door a crescent of light passed through my left shoulder with a "shoom" completely cutting off my left arm.

"Huh?"

What had just happened I thought. Why was my arm on the floor? What had I done to deserve this? Can I reattach it with a health potion or healing magic? Was there even health potions or healing magic in this world? I know magic exists but does healing magic? While I was having these thoughts the paralyzing pain of having my left arm severed had finally reached my brain

"Guh….AHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

I let out a scream and my knees crumpled then I fell face first into the dirt road, well it wasn't full dirt there was some rocks thrown in as well but this was irrelevant. Blood was poring out of my left shoulder, there was so much it was mind boggling. It looked like a scene from a horror movie that spent its entire budget on gore.

"IT HURTS AHHHHHH PLEASE MAKE IT STOP!!!"

I put my right hand over top of where my left arm used to be attached to try and slow the bleeding but this didn't do much of anything I was already laying in a pool of my own blood and it wasn't stopping I could visibly see the pool steadily getting bigger and bigger and I knew that if I didn't stop the bleeding I would die.

"You dumbass I told you we should've left! Now look what is happening! This is your fault you know. I told you what was in there yet you still went in!"

I heard the voice of a young girl yell out but what she said was barely audible to me because of all of my screaming and floundering around on the ground but I caught the end of what she said "I told you what was in there" yea she did didn't she? a few minutes ago she told me about the horrors that were in this building yet I still opened the door. We needed food so I thought it would be best to get some right now.

I lifted my head off the ground and looked into the now open and bloody guild entrance to see a room full of mutilated decaying "people" all walking towards the entrance. I say people but they hardly resembled people at this point. Some of them were missing hands, others missing legs, eyes, fingers.

"So it was true"

I thought to myself" earlier I had been talking with the girl who's name was slipping from my mind due to the agonizing pain comming from the left side of my body. She told me about some form of magic disease that had completely laid waste to this place a few days ago and turned almost everyone into these things. It sounded an awful lot like zombies to me and part of me wanted to see for myself. Ripped from my world and thrown into this shithole of a world what was the point in that? I've always fantasized about being summoned or reincarnated into another world who hasn't? I would become all powerful and defeat the demon king and marry the cute girl that summoned me but this? I don't want this. I don't want this at all! This is HELL! Why would anyone want this!? While I was watching the zombies walk closer and closer one of them caught my eye. There was one wearing a full suit of sliver armor and he had a long sword. "A knight?" I thought was he here to save me? He must be there was no other explanation the armor was untouched and the armor was so big and bulky there was no way he was a zombie because every zombie movie I've seen has the disease spread through bite and there was no way he was bitten through that armor. He lifted the long sword he had with both hands and white light started surrounding and circling the sword. I looked over to the girl who was saying something and then slammed her hands together. I couldn't hear what she said I couldn't hear anything everything was starting to go dark I couldn't feel the pain in my arm anymore I didn't feel anything anymore and then my vision went black.

"Oh god is that a holy knight!? Shit he's gonna die I told him we should have just gone somewhere else! Screw it! I guess I'll use THAT to save his ass. Your gonna owe me big time though!"

I chanted the words to activate my skill called 「Speed step」one of the 12 abilities handed down from the 12 great gods long ago. After I recited the chant I clapped my hands together to finish the requirements to activate the skill I noticed that Marcus had passed out from blood loss and I exploded off the ground going so fast that time itself seemed to slow down. I ran to where he was laying picked him up and "shoom" a crescent of light dug into the earth right where he was just laying causing the ground to explode.
