Chapter 28: Quick Death ii

"You bastard!"

Once again Ryo taunts him to attack him, Surprisingly it works. Taiga grits his teeth and immediately charge towards Ryo. Ryo who is prepare to fight side step Taiga attack and immediately counter it. Ryo once again sent Taiga flying towards a house, It's the third time Taiga has been flying around.

He is still enrage with his subordinate dead plus now he keep being taunted by some werewolf. Ryo won't stop taunting him until he is completely down on the ground. Taiga's head is still on mess he can't think rationally because he's still enrage. Ryo continue to taunt him a few times until, A blood drop from Taiga's mouth he's been suffering the damage for too long and his body is already on the bad condition.

After realizing blood is dropping from his mouth Taiga slaps his own face. His vibe immediately change Ryo feel a sudden chance from Taiga he knows if he taunt him again it will now work. Ryo freeze can't do anything. His plan is to defeat Taiga while he's mentally unstable.

"You sure have a good time taunting me but now it's the second round"

This time Taiga is ready, He open his stance and ready to strike at any time, Ryo can't lose either if he lose no one can protect Ray. That is what he thought but the truth is Ray is on his way towards him. So Ryo comes up with a new plan: if he can't defeat Taiga, Then he must buy time as long as possible until Ray is awake.

There is no time to worry; they immediately clash, One-on-one without any weapon, Only fist, leg and other parts of their body. In terms of strength Ryo has the upper hand while Taiga has the upper hand in term of speed. So it's a battle between power and speed.

While Ray, Who is on his way towards Ryo, Have to deal with some of the bandit in his way. It's like to end . They keep coming one after another and Ray become more and more agitated. He didn't want to drag this longer, Who knows what will happen to Ryo if he's late. But Ray didn't stop, He keep dashing while dealing with some bandit that stand on his way.

The bandit who saw through Ray took the advantage and start to gang him with a large force, Ray finally got surround by the bandit, Ray's eye turns red and grits his teeth intensively. He got no choice but to deal with this kind of situation. He can only hope Ryo can hold up against the bandit leader. Ray dealt with every one of them slowly but surely but it also took a toll on his body because the fatigue starts to kick in.

Ray start to panting there is no end for this wave the bandit keep coming, Maybe he should switch with Tezz that's what he thought but Tezz has a high hope for Ray to inherit his power. Ray slaps his face, Steady his breathing and start to deal with the wave calmly. Tezz who witness all Ray's action impress by Ray improvement, For a second Tezz thought Ray will switch with him but no he was wrong.

"Haha, A good decision kid I will give you a lecture if you can't deal with this kind of thing"

As Ray continues to deal with the bandits, He sense Ryo's presence just a few meters from him, But he can't lose focus even if just a second Ray can only pray for Ryo to hold on a bit longer.

"You are good but you can't defeat me"

Ryo is really at a disadvantage; he has endure long enough, So what is left is the werewolf transformation. His trump card the transformation but can't quite control it for too long. It's do or die for him he can't let Taiga deal anymore damage to his body.

'Transform'

A burst of aura shoots into the sky, Taiga retreat for a bit just to confirm what is happening with his opponent. His eye widen, He can't believe what he just saw a werewolf form. Ryo completely change his body; he become an average werewolf but his aura is menacing. Unlike the other races werewolf can transform and fill the gap of what the status he's lacking, For Ryo cases he lack speed that is why he become a little thin to balance his strength and speed.

'Untoucha-'

Ryo didn't even give Taiga a chance to cast his skill, He immediately strike Taiga, Ryo speed has increase significantly after using the transformation skill. But the downside of the skill is the user will end up in miserable condition after forcing his body to balance his speed and strength.

So Ryo must end this fight as fast as possible, There is also a time limit on how long Ryo can maintain his form, For his current situation he can only last for five minutes longer than that his body will start to break. He start to pummel Taiga using his werewolf form.

The smith also done crafting the weapon for Ray and his friends, He immediately exited his blacksmith to deliver the weapon to Ray but just when he step out of his shop he notice his surroundings had been completely destroyed and only his blacksmith was standing firm.

He caught a glance at Ryo but he didn't know that Ryo is fighting with someone. As the old man approaching Ryo notice him and let his guard down for a second. Taiga who notice that quickly pull his dagger and start to attack Ryo. He immediately activate his skill 'untouchable'.

"Hey kid what are you doing here"

"Old man stay away!! Don't come any closer!!"

"But your weap-"

Taiga didn't give Ryo a chance to recover, He immediately stab the old man, Ryo eye turns red and he clench his fist, He immediately charge towards Taiga but Ryo already reach his time limit, Fatigue strike his body first paralysing him and Taiga immediately chock him.

Ray who is a few steps away from reaching Ryo, Saw the old man slowly falling and Ryo is being chock by Taiga. Something snap inside his head he stand still with his hand shaking, He slowly open his eye and activate the king's aura but this time the radius of his aura is bigger than usual it cover the whole kingdom.

The people who got caught in his aura immediately kneel on the ground. The same goes for Taiga. He didn't know what is happening right now but someone had force him to kneel on the ground. Taiga tries to resist but he can't seem to escape from the aura, His eye turns red, All of his muscle has expand to his maximum output but still he can't shake the aura off.

But then he sees someone approaching slowly, He knows who it is but he can't move he can't even speak. Ray glances at him for a second and immediately come closer to the old man and Ryo. As he carry the old man he notice that the old man is bringing the weapon that he forge. As he inspect the weapon he notice a beautiful pair of dagger.

He pick it up and deactivate his aura. The people who was paralyze now can move but people who know what kind of aura is that started to shiver. The bandits also started to retreat but the king order his soldier to capture the bandit, The soldier who can still fight march forward and capture all of the bandit that tries to run.

Taiga who see the opportunity immediately tries to sneak attack Ray who is busy inspecting his weapon, But then he vanish from Taiga sight. Taiga shivering, He want to locate Ray as soon as possible but Ray is nowhere to be seen.

"This is your sins and you must pay for it"

'Slice'

Taiga's head slowly falls into the ground, A painless and quick death, Taiga's life end in a second. Ray screams as loud as possible to release all of his anger and sorrow. His tears start to drop on his cheeks sobbing hard. He cover his face and starts to cry and slam his fist to the ground. The sky turns dark and the clouds slowly pour rain.
