C16 - Poachers Misery.

~Random POV~

"Captain! we're here." A man with a scar in his face.

"Good! follow me. Don't make any noise and prepare the tranquilizer including the paralyzing poison. We must capture Absol alive." I said to the team.

I looked in the forest for some reason. I felt uneasy, especially when my subordinate pointed to the forest. 

Hmm? I looked around for some reason, I sensed someone was observing us.

"Allen, did you sense someone watching us?" I asked my subordinate. He looked toward me in confusion.

"Captain, did you use some dried grass before the mission? You obviously suffered from hallucination." He replied and I felt insulted somehow.

"Sigh~" I shook my head. He was right. 

I was so cautious and thought things didn't exist. Isn't it obvious how bugs and birds threatened me?

Sigh!

Well... They can't blame me if I use grass or not and be cautious in my surroundings. Since the last mission we had, we suffered a massive failure. 

The Pokemon and the experimental subject escape with all Pokemon eggs. The Group suffered with great loss. We lost our equipment and some of the recruits.

"Captain! we found a trail of wheels."

"Hmm?" I looked down and saw a trace of a bike passed in the ground inside the forest. "Mach Bike?"

How?! This is far away from the main road unless the guy was searching for the same target. Maybe?

"Zan! I want you to check the surroundings."

We should secure the Pokemon and silent the trainer. I don't need to make things more complicated, having eyewitnesses brought more trouble than benefits.

"Okay! Captain."

Few Minutes later.

Somehow I felt uneasy. I looked around and I found the creatures show such hostility. I asked my subordinate. "Allan! Any updates?"

"Yes! Sir. The Trail was missing and I can't see any trace of the bicycle, but we found a place we believed to be Absol's shelter."

"Mn! Good, we proceed and capture the target." I nodded my head. We should have finished the tasks and I felt more uncomfortable.

I reached Absol's shelter and saw her inside the hole. The Absol was lying in her shelter, she isn't fully recovered from the previous injury she received.

"Prepare the tranquilizer and net!" I shouted and we gathered around her. We're determined to capture her alive.

"Ready!"

""Yes! Captain!!""

"Fire!"

BANG! BANG! BANG!

"!!!" Absol looked toward our group with a massive grin and suddenly I felt dread spread inside me.

I saw Absol. A move Protect to cover herself and I immediately gave a command.

"Retreat!"

"Team A Grassy Terrain! Team B Vine Whip! Team C Disable their equipment either breaking the weapon or their arms!"

I heard a voice and looked around, but my vision was covered with tall grass and I heard screams from my companion.

"This?!" I looked around and shouted "Defeat them!"

"Honchkrow! AI... ARGHH!! Help!"

KROW~!!

"Mightyena! Dark Pulse!"

BOOM! BOOM!

"Team A! send them a gift! Team D! go!"

"Wait?! What!" I screamed as a strong gust of wind passed us and I felt weak! This~?! Stun spore?

"Houndoom! Flamethrower." 

I released my pokemon and I regret my decision. Once I commanded my Pokemon to burn the grassy terrain. We suffered from the lack of air from the thick smoke and reduce our vision.

"Damn!"

"Oh! Thank you for digging your own grave! Flo (Floette)! Dazzling Gleam! Little Buddy (Riolu)! Vacuum wave! Noctowl! Moonblast!"

BOOM!

Huh?! I turned my head and saw my Houndoom fainted. This?!... This devious guy! didn't follow the alliance battle rule!

 I took my Pokéball to escape, but I found myself caught from vines.

When?!

I felt dread Absol was bait from the beginning and I was caught alive together with my companion. 

I raised my head and saw a child jump out from the tree. I can't see his face, but I know he is younger than me.

"Ohh? You're alive, eh?!" The child with a mask laughed. "Good! The day. I will be your companion!"

"Monster." I muttered and the guy looked at me with a smile. I saw his smile and started to regret being involved with this guy. I regret being a poacher.

"Thanks!"

"!!!"
