The Playful Eagle 17: Versus The Eagles! Part 8

"Danial!" everyone kept chanting.

"Danial!" they repeated.

I kept looking back and forth at Danial and the crowd cheering, what does he mean by 'the real fight'? Could he possibly mean his Jinni.

"Yon, was your name, am I mistaken?" Danial asked.

Even with all the shouting, his voice was still clear, I could hear it even if he was hundreds of meters away!

"Yes, it's Yon..!" I replied.

He raised both his arms making himself look like a letter T while laughing.

"Everyone here shall get the privilege to see what my true power is!" he shouted, I could see some sort of faint light around him, as well as feel spiritual energy from him.

It made me dizzy, how strong he was spiritually, I made my body get closer while still having a boxer pose ready. I stood still as I watched Danial in front of me.

Suddenly, he took down his arms, and looked eagerly at me. What could he possibly be doing now?!

"BE READY YON!" he shouted and started to move closer to me.

However this time he was gliding on the ground, he wasn't running or jumping towards me, he was gliding as if he was skating on ice! W-What is this?!

He got close to me and jumped up to attack me, I had my look at him, having my fists ready for any upcoming attack!

"NOW TAKE THIS!!" he shouted and attacked with his arm as if it was a sword.

I proceeded to jump back, it was a long and clean hit, however no sign of an attack was visible on my gloves. I looked back at him, his right arm was slightly different, I couldn't see his hand.

"See any difference?" he asked with a smile.

"Tell me!" I replied.

He proceeded to laugh.

"This.. This was my Jinni!" he said while laughing.

I didn't reply, I only gave him a cold stare back.

"Hmph.. It grants me the ability to turn any part of my body into steel!" he shouted.

Body.. into steel? He's got a good power, he can easily kill me too!

"Now then, I hope you have reached 100%, because I will be cutting you up!" he shouted and started gliding towards me again.

This time I was more prepared, I can take one or two slices of his steel body, but that's the maximum before he'll be able to kill me! I have to play smart, and play defensive now.

"NOW TAKE THIS!" he shouted while leaping forward and slashing me with his arm diagonally.

I blocked his attack with my gloves, but weirdly I didn't feel anything. He jumped back and I quickly took a look on the back of my glove.

"WHAT?!" me and Danial shouted at the same time.

I looked at him with a cold but surprised expression, he looked at me with fear. But his fear quickly wore off into more seriousness.

"YOU PIECE OF LUCKY SHIT!!" he shouted with a serious face.

Change of plans, if my glove makes his attacks numb, I have to use them to my advantage.

"COME AT ME MAN!!" I shouted.

He didn't shout anything back but started to glide again towards me. I took a quick glance at his feet, only the bottom part of his shoes were steel, making it possible for him to glide, just like skating.

I looked up at him and started to run towards him, holding my arms tightly towards my body.

"TAKE THIS!!" he shouted.

He leaped forward again and this time tried to slash me quicker using both of his arms. I guarded the attack with my gloves and got a hit on him while he was trying to get away.

I took small steps back while trying to catch my breath.

"FOOL!" he shouted out of nowhere.

I looked up again, there he was in front of me, I did my best to get a guard up, but he slashed my arm.

"AARGH!!" I shouted in pain.

I looked back at him with pain, he was jumping backwards trying to get a distance from me. Behind him was the crowd, they weren't cheering as loudly like before.

"Never look away from your opponents, UNDERSTOOD?!" he shouted.

I kept breathing, taking small breaths.

"W-What more can you d-do?!" I muttered out while still in pain.

"Oh? So you still haven't given up?" he asked.

I did my best to endure the pain and hold a guard up while staring at him. I could feel the mark of his attack, it's still bleeding.

"THEN LET'S PLAY!" he shouted.

He started gliding again towards me, this time with more energy. He had both of his arms ready, only the edge, from his fingers to his elbow were made out of steel.

He attacked in the form of a cross, but before he had a chance to attack I went in for a jab in the middle of the cross!

"T-THEY CLASHED!!" someone from the crowd shouted.

Suddenly, the whole crowd started cheering, screaming and shouting.

"Y-You think you're slick?!" Danial said while trying to fight back.

Despite his big and tall body, I was the same with him even while being more injured.

"I don't have to think, I know I am!" I replied and overpowered him, I punched through his attack.

He quickly turned around and started gliding away to get distance from me.

I started walking backwards, trying to lean on the pile of cars to rest for a few seconds. The crowd was still shouting and raising their fists.

"Danial!" I shouted.

He looked at me.

I smiled back at him, I could feel how I was getting more power, and more confidence, however not from anywhere.

"Show me your 100%!" I shouted back with a smile on my face while leaning back at the cars.

He snapped, it was very visible he was beyond angry.

"I'LL SHOW YOU!!" he screamed with all he had.
