Chapter 4

Han Bing came home with a surprise hug from her mother. Hua Yi Xian was too excited. However, she quickly let go of her daughter in fear of suffocation.

"Uhmph" Hua Yi Xian awkwardly coughed. "I found a job near our house and they're paying me at least 710,000 yuan per year."

Han Bing was uncertain whether this is legitimate. Han Bing feared that her mother falled for one of the job scams.

"What type of job is this? Are you sure they're legit?" Han Bing asked.

Hua Yi Xian understands her daughter's concern. "Don't worry. The host is a wealthy family and they've been hiring a gardener since their last gardener retired."

However, Han Bing is still suspicious. Even if the host family is rich, Hua Yi Xian only worked in a cloth factory before. The qualification and the job's salary does not match up. Seeing her like this, Hua Yi Xian knows that her daughter is still concerned about her.

"Alright, alright. Stop thinking about it. Even if they really are shady, your mom is also not a weak cat either." Han Bing can only push this matter back to her mind. If they really are dangerous, Han Bing does not mind letting them have a taste of her.

Although Han Bing's still wary about this job, Hua Yi Xian knows that she perfectly suits this job. Before Hua Yi Xian got married to Han Bing's father, she worked under a well known herbalist, Da Sha. As a disciple, she mastered gardening and cutting skills on how to raise plants. However, in the recent age, not many households need a herbalist. It was her luck to be able to find a wealthy family finding one right now.

The hosts were also surprised when Hua Yi Xian told them that her master was Da Sha. When Hua Yi Xian showed them her certification, their doubt disappeared and they promised a high pay to have her working there.

Hua Yi Xian started to laugh and cry at the same time. She wished that her dead husband was here. Luck has finally come, but it always comes too late.

Han Bing who was watching her mother's rapid change in emotion. She didn't know what happened to her. Why are emotions so complicated? Han Bing, who didn't know how to comfort people, hugged her mother. "Everything will become better."

Hua Yi Xian's eyes widened for a moment and slowly smiled. She roughly wiped away her tears with her sleeves. "Let's go eat"

The next few days were more peaceful. Students slowly stopped asking Han Bing questions about the accident. Hua Yi Xian is also coming back home every day in a good mood. Han Bing was happy for her mother for finding a job that she likes.

Currently, in the Qin mansion, Hua Yi Xian was cutting the leaves of a bonsai. Hua Yi Xian was impressed with the rare plants the Qin family had in their garden. Few of them can only be found in the book that her master provided.

"Hua aunt, You're too hard working. Ever since you came to us, the flowers are blooming more beautiful than before. Come walk with me." Yang Li Mi, the Qin head's wife, led Hua Yi Xian to the central garden while they talked. An exquisite white marbled table was centered in the middle with complementing chairs.

"Please, have a seat. How is it going? Do you like your current job environment?" Yang Li Mi politely asked.

Hua Yi Xian was confused. She has talked with Yang Li Mi before, but it was always light conversations. Yang Li Mi is a beautiful woman who doesn't look her age. She has pearl-like white skin and a perfectly curved face. Not many people can tell that she has a son that is going to high school right now.

"Everything is fine" Hua Yi Xian hesitated a moment and asked " Lady Yang, is there a problem?"

"Uumm" Yang Li Mi didn't expect that Hua Yi Xian would be this direct. "I heard that you have a daughter."

Hua Yi Xian was even more confused now. What does this have to do with her daughter?

"My son and your daughter are in the same class. I was hoping that your daughter can tutor my son. Of course, I can give compensation." Yang Li Mi grabbed onto Hua Yi Xian's hand and used her dewy eyes to persuade Hua Yi Xian to agree.

When Hua Yi Xian started to work in her house, Yang Li Mi had the subordinates investigate Hua Yi Xian. She also found out that Hua Yi Xian has a daughter who's in the same class as her son. Yang Li Mi was even more shocked when she discovered that her daughter is ranked first place for every year in the high school that is known for its incredible difficulty. Maybe, Hua Yi Xian's daughter can improve her son's grade.

Hua Yi Xian, who is weak to soft attacks, told Yang Li Mi that she will ask her daughter. Yang Li Mi happily told Hua Yi Xian to take a day off and pulled Hua Yi Xian out of the mansion. " Hua aunt, you're the best" Yang Li Mi waved her good-bye and blew her a kiss.

Everything went too fast for Hua Yi Xian to process. She looked at the work gloves she still had on and helplessly shook her head. What a quirky madam.

By the time that Hua Yi Xian got back home, it was the late afternoon. Hua Yi Xian found Han Bing looking at a book in her hand. The sunset shone on her hair giving her a warm appearance. Hua Yi Xian flicked her head. "You're reading again"

Han Bing was surprised at first and saw that it was her mother. She put away her book. "Mom, you came back early today"

Hua Yi Xian took a chair and told Han Bing about everything that happened in the afternoon. "It's fine if you don't want to tutor him. The most important part is your health."

Han Bing didn't expect that her mother was working for the Qin family. This would make everything easier. "It's fine. I can do it." There would be multiple chances to break Qin Shi Ran's leg once she became his tutor.

Hua Yi Xian looked at her daughter worriedly. Although her daughter seems amiable to everyone, she's actually keeping her distance with that appearance. Originally, Hua Yi Xian wanted to reject Yang Li Mi's proposal, but she thought about getting her daughter to have more friends.

Hua Yi Xian also didn't have to worry about early love since Han Bing is an extremely calm person, and a young master from a wealthy family usually wouldn't fall in love with someone that is disable. Hua Yi Xian was relieved when Han Bing agreed.

"Since you don't have school tomorrow, then come with me to work. Go sleep early tonight and don't let me catch you reading again"

Han Bing obediently nodded. Hua Yi Xian sees that she is preparing to go to bed and closes the door behind her. Right after the door was closed, Han Bing opened her eyes. She silently took out the medical journal she put away before and continued to read.
