Webber had called them all into a conference room, and everyone was slightly confused.

Eleanora maneuvered her way through the crowd, giving a small 'sorry!' when she ran into someone. She stopped beside Alex, looking at the Chief and his secretary.

"What's this about?" Eleanora questioned, tilting her head. Alex shrugged, moving his hand to rest on the small of her back.

"No idea. Just hope it goes by fast so I can get out of here and back to my patient. The dude has an ovary." He whispered the last part, leaning in closer to her face so she could hear. Her eyes widened and she looked up at him.

"Really?"

"Yeah. And, his wife is pregnant." Alex state's, raising a brow. Eleanora's own furrowed as she thought for a minute.

"Shouldn't he be ster-" she noticed the look Alex was giving her and let out a small gasp, her hand flying to her mouth. "-oh my god!"

Alex just gave her a nod, but their attention was grabbed by the Chief. Everyone in the room quieted down and listened, most confused as to what was going on and the rest just annoyed at being called away from their patients.

"Three interns, four residents and six nurses on this surgical floor have been diagnosed with...syphilis."

Eleanora's cheeks reddened and she looked at George out of the corner of her eye, seeing him slowly slid down in his chair. Alex let out a small chuckle, looking up at the sky.

"Thank you. God, thank you for making this day so amazing."

Eleanora smacked at his arm weakly, trying to keep her eyes off of Olivia. She only knew of those two, and she really didn't want to draw people's attention to either of them. But she still couldn't keep her eyes off of them.

Patricia pipes up, her voice somehow cheery despite the awkward conversation. "There are over 70,000 new cases every year. Undiagnosed, syphilis can lead to blindness, insanity, and even death."

"If you are having unprotected sex with another member of our staff, get tested." The Chief said. The room laughed, but his face still held the serious, stern look it always seemed to have. "That is not a request. Patricia..." the Chief cleared his throat. "Patricia will now give you all a safe-sex demonstration."

Laughing continued, Alex being one of them. Eleanora knew her face had to be red, and George was in the same boat as her. His made sense, but hers didn't.

Eleanora just hated situations like this. She felt as though eyes were watching her and Alex, and that they noticed how when together, he was always somehow touching her or vice versa.

When Patricia stands up, she is holding a banana and a condom. "When the time is right, and, gentlemen, you'll know when that time is, carefully open the condom packet and roll it onto the banana."

Eleanora let out a small squeak and turned her head to bury in Alex's side. She could feel the vibrations of his laughter, and she shook her head.

"No. No, It's like the talk with my mom all over again." She mumbled, Alex wrapping his arm around her side.

They stood there throughout the entire demonstration, Alex teasing Eleanora playfully and her practically begging for him to stop or make Patricia stop.

"This is so embarrassing! Everyone in here has a medical license and should know how to have safe sex!" She hissed out, finally looking up at him. "We have safe sex!" Her voice was low but shaky, and Alex looked down at her.

His face slightly fell when she said 'we'. They, together, had safe sex, sure, and Alex planned on continuing. However, he felt guilty that she assumed that he just used a condom every single time he's had sex in the past and that she obviously thought he would tell her if he hadn't lately.

His eyes drifted to Olivia, who was very obviously uncomfortable. He felt the guilt intensify, just nodding along to Eleanora. She didn't seem to notice his guilty expression or how he was looking at Olivia.

But across the room, Cristina did.

Cristina's eyes narrowed as she looked at the two, crossing her arms. She followed his eyesight to Olivia and seemed to make the small connection. She then brought her eyes to Eleanora, her entire being deflating slightly.

The girl was so sweet, kind, and trusting. She obviously trusted Alex and liked him a lot, but from what Cristina was seeing, Alex may not have been as hung up on her as everyone thought.

Shepherd's page, Eleanora snuck into the room where he was going over MRI scans. The Chief was standing beside him, and she gave him a small smile.

However, the Chief turned furious, turning to Shepherd accusingly. "You told an ?!"

Eleanora stopped in her tracks, her face falling.  Derek sighed, looking at Richard.

"Dr. Amedeo is the best intern out of the bunch, Richard. She'll keep the secret and do it efficiently. And besides, I need some help."

Eleanora cleared her throat, wringing her hands together. "What exactly this?" She asked. Richard flares his nostrils, turning to the girl for a moment.

He finally looked back at Derek and nodded. "Fine, but the rest are my people only. This is done tonight." Richard walls past Eleanora, not looking back. Once the door is closed, she looks at Derek.

"Dr. Shepherd?"

"Whatever I tell you does not leave this room. You understand?l

"Yes, sir."

Derek sighs, pointing at the films. Eleanora walls over and peers up at them, her eyes widening.

"He has a tumor? Pressing against his optic nerve?" She asks, her voice shocked. Derek nods, pulling the films off of the light box.

"Yes, he does. And I am going to remove it, and I want you to help me. Think you can handle it?"

Eleanora turns to him, nodding quickly. "Yes, Dr. Shepherd."

He smiles, patting her shoulder quickly. "Good. I knew you were the one for the job. Just kept an eye on your pager, and don't tell anyone."

Derek's exited, leaving Eleanora in the middle of the room. She felt a smile pull on her lips, jumping up and down for a moment. She quickly composed herself, telling herself she can't really celebrate her Chief of Surgery having a brain tumor.
