Opening the Gates

Xiao Wuya's body started to glow a silver color which represented the Immortal Energy and a Gold color which represented the Ancient Energy.

Xiao Wuya didn't need to build up Energy to break each gate like others since he was just opening them. But the pain caused by opening each gate was immense.

Xiao Wuya's pupils turned into slits and his veins started popping out. Xiao Wuya was born with the Gate of Death open so he opened the Gate of Wonders first. He felt as if a thousand insects were crawling under his skin and biting his flesh. But after the gate was opened he felt a ton of Ancient Energy and Immortal Energy flow through his body and he felt his body become much stronger than before. On his back a second Fox Tail appeared and on his chest a second Ancient Star appeared.

After the Gate of Wonders was open he started opening the Gate of True Eyes. Xiao Wuya collapsed to the floor as he felt like his eyes were literally melting in his face. He got through the Gate of True Eyes and the same thing as before happened and he awakened his 3rd Fox Tail and 3rd Ancient Star, but instead of his body feeling stronger his eyes were much stronger and he could see everything around him clearly.

He then continued opening the last 5 gates. Each gate caused a flow of Ancient Energy and True Energy into his body and awakened an additional Fox Tail and Ancient Star. For the Gate of Heart he realized that his blood started to turn golden increasing his vitality and strength, for the Gate of Pain he realized that his meridians were upgraded and he could take in Qi much faster than before, for the Gate of Life he realized that his mind was much clearer and his comprehension speed increased, for the Gate of Healing his Energy gained the ability to heal his body way faster than before, and for the final Gate of Opening his body was freed from the mortal shackles causing his body to fully merge the features of his bloodlines.

His meridians were turned into dual Ancient Immortal Meridians and his Dantian was turned into Ancient Immortal Dantian causing it to be much bigger than any normal Dantian and gain the ability to automatically refine Energy even if he wasn't focusing on cultivation.

The tattoo of the Ancient Order race was imprinted on the right corner of his back and he could summon the Ancient Order Armor which was a set of flexible Golden Armor with Golden Devil Wings. He also gained the ancient orders Universal Suppression Seal Art that could hide the secrets in his body as well as be used as a technique against others.

The tattoo of the Immortal Nine-Tailed Fox Race was also imprinted on the left corner of his back and he gained the Fox's Immortal Cloud Boats, the ability to hide his fox features, the ability to activate the Nine-Tailed Qi Form which increases cultivation speed and battle power, and the ability to use the legendary Nine-Tailed Qi Orb Art by gathering Qi from the atmosphere on his tails he is able to send out an attack so powerful it can destroy multiple mountain ranges with one blast.

He could transform into his true Ancient God form and he could transform into his true Immortal Nine-Tailed Fox form due to the tattoos signifying that he was truly part of their race.

It also unlocked the secret bloodline weapons in his body. For the Immortal Nine-Tailed Fox Bloodline Weapon he received the Immortal Sun Chain Hook and the Immortal Moon Chain Hooks, the Sun Chain Hook was yellow with the power of pure flames while the Moon Chain Hook was blue with the power of pure ice. For the Ancient God Bloodline Weapon he received the Ancient Spacetime Spear that had both divine and demonic powers as well as the ability to manipulate spacetime.

Xiao Wuya collapsed to the ground with happiness that everything was over and was about to check everything he had gained but suddenly a giant gate that surpassed the size of all the other gates in his body appeared.

The words that were on the gate said 'Gate of True Energy'. Xiao Wuya's face contorted with pain as the suppression of this new gate pushed on his body, Xiao Wuya shouted upwards "Are the Heavens trying to kill me! You are not worthy!"

Xiao Wuya stood up and using the Ancient Energy and Immortal Energy in his Dantian, he pushed against the door and with all his strength he pushed it open.

The pain he felt from this gate was like a culmination of all the other gates. Previously, he could grit his teeth and hold the pain but this was just to painful causing him to yell to the sky. Some people who lived on the outskirts of the Xiao Clan City next to the Elders home could hear the yell and they wondered what was happening.

He made one final push and the gate opened with a flash of golden light covering his body. Xiao Wuya's body emitted a beacon of light which reached above the clouds and into the Heavens.

This was something that people for many miles could see and Elder Xiao Huang who was walking back from the meeting rushed home when he saw the direction from where the beacon was located.

Xiao Wuya was knocked unconscious after the final push but the changes in his body didn't stop. The gate with it's doors open caused the meridians to detach from the Dantian and flow through the door. Then the door merged with his Dantian causing all the Energy to flow through the door to enter his Ancient Immortal Dantian.

All the energy in his body started to have a more active sheen and contain more energy because instead of being just normal energy it turned into True Energy. Also everything in his body just had a second upgrade meaning his eyes were even better than before, his body was even stronger, his blood was had even more vitality and strength, etc.

The beacon of light disappeared as quickly as it appeared but it still became a topic of discussion around the city.

Elder Xiao Huang was already in the middle of the 2nd step of cultivation, the Lifeseizing Realm, so his speed was incredibly fast.

Xiao Wuya's shirt was torn during the opening process revealing the 9 Ancient Stars and the 9 Crimson Crystal Tails on his back were very noticable.

The terrifying aura that emanated from Xiao Wuya's body wasn't at the Lifeseizing Realm yet, but it was something beyond the Foundation Establishment Realm causing Elder Huang to stare at Xiao Wuya in both amazement and confusion.

Placing Xiao Wuya on his bed Elder Huang spoke in a soft tone "Xiao Wuya was the name given by your true parents. I don't know if it was coincidental that a person from a clan with the name Xiao found you or not, but in my eyes you are my true grandson. That is why I must send you to the Beast Continent so you can cultivate in peace and learn from people you are truly connected to. I know you have been keeping some things secret from me but I am not upset. As long as you grow into a powerful cultivator I can stand proud and say that you are my grandson."

Elder Huang then stood up and walked outside to face the line of clan members and elders waiting for an explanation.
