The battle had finally drawn to a close. The intrusion of a Greater Demon, known as Kermes had been unsuccessful after Senior Sorcerer Hell Blaze of the Nuria Clan arrived at the scene in the nick of time. After that Crimson Oath Cult Leader, Kemeson escaped and joined the Evil Sorcerer Society, an organization filled with the most corrupt and evilest of Sorcerers. His followers were sacrificed to facilitate his escape, evident from their pale grey corpses that lay on the ground without any hint of life in them. 

This meant that the Sorcerers had obtained success in the expedition, bringing a stop to the activities of the Crimson Oath cult in the Everwinter Kingdom. The Apprentices Sorcerers all looked relieved and some even fell to the ground in exhaustion, after a long battle. Even Sorcerer Korman and Sorcerer Phelan were able to relax their tense muscles for a bit.
