Second Brother II

Chen Xi put on horse riding clothes and looked at herself in the mirror.

"Empress." a voice behind her said.

Chen Xi turned around but there was no one behind her.

"Princess, are you ready?" Lan'er asked outside the door.

Chen Xi opened the door and said: "Let's go."

Lan'er nodded her head and they went off to the stables.

"Here." Jing Xi said as he handed a bow and arrow to Chen Xi.

"Same as last time?"

Jing Xi smiled as he put on a blind fold and walked to the middle of the field. Chen Xi put on her blindfold then picked up her arrow and shot towards him. Jing Xi jumped up and dogged the arrow, he then picked up his bow and arrow and shot towards Chen Xi's direction.

"Princess!" Lan'er shouted.

Chen Xi turned a little to the right and the arrow missed.

"How about we call it a day, you just recovered." Lan'er said.

"I'm fine." Chen Xi said as she was ready to shoot her second arrow.

Chen Xi's second arrow went toward the gong, Jing Xi took a rock from one of his pocket's and threw it at the arrow. Chen Xi's arrow fell to the floor and Jing Xi shot his first arrow at the gong in Chen Xi's side. Ignoring the arrow flying towards her gong, Chen Xi drew 2 arrows and shot it at Jing Xi's gong. Jing Xi took out another rock and threw it in the direction of the arrow, sadly an arrow passed him and made a dong sound.

"Using the old tricks?" Jing Xi asked.

"Back right at you brother."

The game continued until Jing Xi forfeited.

"This is not fun." Chen Xi said as she dropped her bow and arrow to the ground.

"I let you win and you're not happy?" Jing Xi said as he rubbed her hair

"You're always like this." Chen Xi said as she shook his hand off of her.

"Here, let's go visit him." Jing Xi said as he handed her a carrot.

Chen Xi took the carrot and walked to Xiao Bai's stable.

"Xiao Bai!" Chen Xi shouted as she ran toward his stable.

"Who's this? She sure looks pretty?"

"Cloud, you're here too?" Chen Xi said as she fed a carrot to her.

Jing Xi opened the gates. Xiao Bai and Cloud ran around the fields happily until an arrow came out of nowhere and shot Xiao Bai.

"XIAO BAI!" Chen Xi shouted.

Xiao Bai ran towards Chen Xi and rubbed his head against her head.

"You're fine?" Chen Xi said as she took a quick scan of him.

"What's wrong?"

"I thought I saw an arrow shoot him."

"I think you're just tired, get some rest."

Chen Xi nodded her head and she walked back to the Peony Palace.

"Here, let's go back to your stables. Protect yourself Xiao Bai, I have a feeling what she saw today was your future." Jing Xi said to Xiao Bai.

Xiao Bai made a sound and went back to his stable.
