Chapter 4 : Romantic Tension.

Before Yeli could finished a hard slap landed on his face. Making him taken aback.

"Has your hearing deteriorated, you ain't worth!"

Ari uttered furiously.

Everyone jaws dropped, they couldn't believe their eyes. Ari actually dared to slap their Honoured Prince.

This moment, Joab hastily took out his heavy sword from its scabbard and pointed at Ari.

"Bitch! You're too daring!!"

Joab roared as he boiled with fury.

His eyes were bloodshot. He wished he could kill her on the spot.

The only reason why he didn't slay Ari straight was that the Honoured Prince had not yet ordered him.

The fears that vanished minutes ago had now come back after seeing the furious faces of all people here including the boiling Joab who had even pointed a sharp and big sword on her.

One order from Yeli would end her life. She dared to slap Yeli due to influence of anger and she didn't think about the consequences.

Ari brokes into cold sweat and her legs went limp that she couldn't move at the slightest.

The old man Masula spoke with a gloomy face and extremely sorrowful voice. He said.

"My lady why are being too hostile to our Honoured Prince? He is just asking for love. It is true that he is pestering you, but you should understand what love is like. You're a young woman you should have understand his situation better than anyone else here. Why people here are too cruel and heartless... Everyone is vicious and cold hearted here. Three years when we just arrived here, we sent four men with gifts to ask the king who might be your father for a place to stay. But guess what he did? He ruthlessly killed our brothers and threw their bodies in those damn woods. Now his daughter is just as him."

He then turned to look at Yeli.

"Hah my poor Honoured Prince don't worry I'll find you the prettiest fairy lady. You'll marry her and have a lot of children. You'll bore kings and queens. People here are all devilish."

His words were extreme sorrow and touching.

It heart broke everyone who heard it.

Ari on the hand, had a change of expression from fear to sad.

All the men who had their heads lowered in respect had long raised their heads.

Joab hollered while his fingers trembled with anger.

The old man's words had rubbed the wounds in his heart.

Yeli who was on verge of bursting into tears the moment Ari slapped him was now covering his face with his hands while looking at Ari.

Yeli said.

Ari herself was surprised she never expected Yeli to still be defending her.

"Your Highness, she is useless. All what she is doing is hurting you. She won't bring any benefits to you. You better listen to what Grandpa is saying. Give up on this vicious monster. There are a lot of women out there you can still find one or even hundreds of them. This wastrel supposed to die. Order me please!"

All the people looking at Yeli waiting for his reply.

Will he insist on saving this girl?

"I said noo.. you should not kill her. Why killing her? she is innocent. It's my fault. I kept forcing her what she don't want. She didn't like a trash like me. I'm the who is so daring. How can I pester a princess of Jiuhon?"

Grandpa Masula asked.

"Let her go, free her. We're harassing her by keeping her here. Let her leave with some jewelry."

I'm not even hurt."

His words were extreme sorrowful.

"Yeah, he is right, let her go. The Honoured Prince is right. We can't stay here for life. Who knows? Maybe her betrayal can be a blessing in disguise"

Grandpa Masula said in agreeing with Yeli's decision.

Joab pondered their decision for a while before saying.

"Oh ok, my Honoured Prince is so wise and full of kindness. I can never go against your wish. You call the shorts."

He said while putting his sword back into its scabbard and his tone was calm, but the hint of bitterness appeared on his face.

Johan at the side was talking to him angrily. He seemed to be pestering Joab not to agree with the idea.

Actually, right from the beginning they have been talking in Hwang language which was the language spoken by the people of Jiuhon as well as the people of Huryo.

"My Lady take what you want and leave us. We'll never have any dealings with you nor bore a grudge against you"

After saying this Yeli turned around and crawled on his bed going inside the canopy bed.

There was sadness written all over his face.

Ari's heart sank to the rock bottom. Yeli was full of kindness and loving yet she insulted him repeatedly.

She regretted her actions and was on verge of bursting into tears. She felt sorry and sad for Yeli.

"My Lord, I'm sorry for hurting you, I shouldn't have gone overboard and slapped you. I was really reckless. "

Ari said while walking towards Yeli.

"No problem, it's just a merely slap and it is not even causing any pain. No need to apologise, I'm the one who is at fault. I abducted you and kept pestering you to marry me."

However, he couldn't hide the bitterness in his tone.

"Hah your still being too polite, everyone here knows that I'm the spoiled and arrogant one. I have said so many harsh words that have stabbed your heart. I'm really sincere apologising."

She said this while entering the canopy which was now wide open.
