Chapter 24 : All Thanks To You.

The women had a drastic change of expression on their faces. They seemed to panic and the leader frantically said.

"Commander Joab tell your soldiers to get into the chariots and attach the chariot immediately"

As she said other women were carrying the dead body of their sister who was killed by the giant.

"Huoi!"

The voice roared again, louder than before.

Joab hurriedly commanded his men to attach the chariots and get into the chariots. Even though they had no idea what was happening, they could sense evil.

Therefore, they followed the young woman's words.

In less than a minute, they all frantically attached all the chariots including Yeli's carriage, and get in.

The attachment didn't take long because they attached the chariots using ropes.

The women lay the corpse of their sister in Joab's chariot and each of them stood beside on chariot and held it. Of course, many chariots were not held by the women.

Only five of about fifty chariots were held by the women's hands. Five, because the women were five in number.

Then the women shined again. The light spread and covered all chariots. The lilac wings on their backs appeared again.

"Houi!!"

This time the roar was even louder.

The women and all chariots including Yeli's carriage slowly ascended into the sky. Yeli, Joab, and the others couldn't help being surprised.

After they were a few tens of meters above the ground. Six giants finally appeared where the headless corpse lay.

Seeing their fellow lying motionless on the giants let out a huge and ear-piercing scream. Then they happened to see the shining chariots in the sky.

One giant which knelt next to the headless corpse of their fellow giant quickly took a huge stone spear and threw it with all its strength towards the shining chariots in indignation and resentment.

Coincidentally, the spear moved towards a young woman standing and holding a chariot attached to Yeli's carriage.

Her face darkened as she saw the spear coming towards her. She was at a loss for what to do.

Luckily, a hand grabbed it in the air. Everyone looked at the owner of the hand with grateful gazes.

It was Yeli who caught the spear with his hand not allowing it to continue its journey.

The leader of the fairy ladies, who was holding and standing in the air next to Joab's chariot was surprised.

"Is that a Honoured Prince you were talking about?"

Joab smiled and nodded his head, feeling rather proud.

"Yes! Yes! He is."

Qin Wang, the leader of the fairy ladies frowned and raised her bow.

"Oh he is so impressive, he actually managed to catch a moving spear by extending his hand from the carriage without falling out of the carriage. That's amazing!"

She complimented.

After some time, Joab asked about the dead young woman.

"What happened to that young woman?"

Qin Wang face darkened a bit and then she replied.

"She intended to cross the border to stay in either Jiuhon or Huryo"

But what she said was not the truth. The truth was that the disciples of the Fairy sect were not allowed to marry. The dead young woman disagreed with this and tried to flee from the sect and go somewhere far away.

Her bad, she just happened to use the forest route.

After some minutes they landed at some place out of the forest.

"Commander Joab, Don't worry there is nothing dangerous, starting from here and going onward. So we will take our leave."

Qin Wang said.

"No problem, we are very grateful to you for saving our lives"

Joab said while bowing slightly and his face carried a trace of thankfulness.

In fact, without the help of Qin Wang, Joab and the others would have long died.

"You're too polite, we were just returning your kindness. You helped us by killing the monster which killed our sister. Stating the fact, we found it hard to kill any of those monsters"

Said Qin Wang in a soft voice.

"Miss you're too polite, I wouldn't have managed to kill it without your help."

Joab stated the fact.

Who knew what would happen to him if Qin Wang and her sisters didn't show up and tied the giant.

"By the way, where do you live?"

Asked Joab.

"Our sect is located in the northeastern part of Gou City."

Replied Qin Wang while smiling.

"Alright, I have something to give you. Wait for a while."

Joab said as he walked to Yeli's carriage.

After talking to Yeli for a while he commanded some of the men to carry some large boxes of gold and other jewelry treasures.

Joab with the men carrying boxes walked to Qin Wang.

The men put down the boxes and opened them.

As soon as Qin Wang and her fellows saw the contents of the boxes their eyes immediately lit up.

"Miss you have saved our lives, please take this"

Said Joab while pointing at the boxes containing 500 kg of gold and one large box of jewelry treasures such as pendants, rings, necklesses and many other treasures suitable for women.

"Commander Joab, thank you for your kindness but we just can't accept it. These gifs are too much"

Qin Wang couldn't accept it.

"Miss don't worry we have more than these. Our Abaki kingdom is also known as the land of gold. It is rich in gold. Please don't hurt my heart by turning down my offer."

Joab pleaded in a soft but serious voice.

Seeing the joab's pleading look, Qin Wang couldn't continue ignoring him.

"Alright, Commander Joab. We're so grateful."

The women took the boxes and gradually ascended into the sky. Joab and his men kept fixedly staring at the women until they disappeared. Only after the women disappeared from their size did the journey continued.

On the way Joab sighed after recalling all the previous scenes and giants in the dark forest.

Before they left Jiuhon, they thought it would be simple to pass through the dark forest. They thought they just need to use their wealth to deal with the strange people of the dark forest. They never knew that the strange people were cannibalistic giants who did not care about money and treasures.
