It's almost time .

Lucian birth was filled with spectacles and wonders. A child who attracted astral energy and ether at the same time. A feat only done by the furies. People suspected. They knew Lucian father to be a pureblood but how did he attract ether. Some said he was Orton reincarnation, while others said his mother was a fury. Kiffen, Lucian mother and now master had to fake her death due to this. The furies weren't hated but feared. She didn't want her son being veiwed as a monster who could extinguish souls, prey on it and promise eternal death.

Many years passed and she came back as Declan, the last fury that was left behind during the early beginning (the time when the furies were forced to war) but there was a reason she really came back.

"Orton will face destruction when this child reach adulthood and will be forced to rebuild again " that was what was told of Lucian and Nari and somehow, maybe by the universe; they somehow ended up being betrothed.

Orton has a mechanism. The reason why Ether clothes the planet and astral force dominate the inside is mainly for this mechanism.

Ether is an energy of destruction and creation, life and death merging into one( it is more than that but that is the easiest explanation. For now) .

Astral force is life alone, moving a straight line without a tint of destruction or death.

This two energies are one in a sense but different. in the form that Astral and destruction force is ether but at the same time not ether. Ether has evolved to be a separate energy of its own but cannot be weild by just anyone but the furies. If Orton get destroyed it will be rebuilt by itself. it was only a matter of time.

"It is almost time . The chaos beasts reappearing and the increase of unnatural phenomenon occurrence is prove of it "park explained.

"I will gather the knights for this " Ray said .

"The knights are strong no doubt but what about the people?"there were many countless race in Orton and Ray only securing the Pureblood is a blasphemy to kingship "remember, you are not just a king but a great king . Don't make the same mistakes as your predecessors".

"Then what do you want me to do. The destruction of Orton is a given ,what am I supposed to do?" Ray was tired, he wished he wasn't king at this moment.

"Open 'portum' it's the only safe place that would remain even after Orton's destruction" Park advised .

"B-but you know I can't , there will be a backlash" Ray complained .

"Bear the brunt for your people and your people's future " Park ended his speech as he proceeded to leave the throne room, he too would make a sacrifice and he had to prepare for it .

"Haaaa~..." The sound of a melodious half goddess and the sound of tearing wind .

Whoosh .

Two little kids who were too matured for their age. their confinement of royalty and the loneliness they have always had all washed away that night.

"How long are we going to keep riding on this thing! ?" Nari asked ,she was really enjoying her stay with Lucian .

"Till you are satisfied!" Lucian answered.

"Can we go a little bit higher?!" .

"Yeah, but I will have to activate the force field!" Lucian answered

"Then what are you waiting for?!". Lucian has been flying at a low attitude ever since. They were going so fast that everything became a blur to them . Lucian took Nari all around the central city to even the Ortanian troops commander base. They almost got beaten up .

A few moments later.

"Haa, thanks for today " Nari said with a sweet smile, she enjoyed being a child after a very long time .

"The pleasure is mine " . They were sitting on a very high mountain with big trees all around. it was marked a safe zone for all Ortanians and other races within Orton .

"I wish we could try this everyday "she said stretching out her hand and making rain fall on them .

"Your powers still amaze me " Lucian said with a smile

"Why...?" Nari brushed her wet hair to the side .her movement was heavenly.

"You have the power of life and death . The power to bless and punish "Lucian stretched his hand and realesed his own energy "this energy of mine is just darkness, loneliness, anger which I don't know where it stems from ,and longing which seems to not exist when you are around" Lucian explained. His dark energy burning like fire "I wish the responsibility as the son of the great king could be lifted off my shoulders".

Nari sighed at Lucian's confession. They both went around Orton capital city, they saw the smiles of children their age and how they play around without cares or worries "I wish that too ,who knows we might be like those children if our parents were ordinary" Nari has always wished to be free and playful but she had to watch her movement, act dignified all the time so as not to ruin the pureblood image.

"I wish I wasn't a pureblood"Lucian whispered.

"Me too " she said giving Lucian a hug while they both poured out their feelings ,thier life is a perfect explanation of 'all that glitters is not gold'.
