Ch 2: Fairy Tail

Wow, I didn't expect so many views for a single chapter. I've uploaded this chapter ahead of time, as thanks.

Natsu, Lucy, Sharon, and Happy, stood before a large building with an unforgettable symbol. The Fairytail symbol.

"Waahh! It's huge!" Lucy exclaimed as Sharon chuckled.

"That's what she said," He whispered as Natsu was confused, while Lucy was a bit red.

"She did say that though," Natsu said as Sharon just sighed and shook his head.

Natsu turned back to the building, and burst the door open as he yelled, "We're home!!"

Immediately after, he launched himself at some guy talking to the others. Soon ... the entire guild was in chaos as Sharon went to a white-haired girl who had a warm smile once she saw him.

Mirajane Strauss is a slim young woman of below-average height. She has large blue eyes and long, white hair which curls slightly at the ends. With two bangs framing her face and reaching down to her chest.

"Mira, how've you been?" Sharon asked with a smile, as she came towards him and pulled him into her embrace.

"Mira? MIRAJANE??" Lucy squealed from behind him as he moved aside.

Mirajane looked at Sharon and smirked before she moved towards Lucy.

"Hello, are you interested in becoming a member of Fairytail?" she asked, leaving Lucy astonished.

"Uh, um ... I'd love to join," Lucy said as Mirajane nodded.

All of a sudden, a massive being dropped onto Mirajane causing Sharon's jaw to drop.

"Oi! Elfman!" He yelled as he grabbed Elfman and lifted him off Mirajane.

"Mirajane, are you okay??" Lucy asked as Mirajane looked up at Lucy and nodded with a smile.

"Excuse me, may I borrow your underwear?" A black-haired man who was nearly completely naked asked as he looked at Lucy.

She screamed and slapped him, knocking him back into the group of people fighting when a large giant appeared.

"You brats!! Stop wrecking the guild!" The giant screamed. The people fighting all froze except Natsu who was laughing.

"I guess you were here, Master?" Mirajane asked as she looked up at him.

"I guess that means I win! Hahaha!" Natsu yelled as the giant stomped on him.

Sharon just facepalmed as the giant looked over at Lucy, who was shivering.

He began to rapidly shrink down to his original size as he asked, "New member?"

Mirajane nodded as he looked at Lucy.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Makarov Dreyar. 3rd Guild Master of Fairytail." He said with a smile as he looked up at Lucy.

Makarov Dreyar is an extremely short, elderly man. He has black eyes and is growing bald with only the outer rims of his head containing white hair. He also has a thick white mustache.

He then jumped back with a spin and hit the wooden handrail, which he then climbed on top of. He looked at all of the people in the guildhall as he got all of their attention with a cough.

"You've done it again, you fools!" He yelled as he raised a large stack of papers.

"First off ... Gray. Good job on sweeping out the smuggling organization, but you walked around town ... naked. Then, you ran away after stealing underwear that was being dried." Makarov said as everyone looked at the half-naked man from earlier.

Gray Fullbuster, has spiky, black-colored hair. He has dark blue eyes, and his body is toned and muscular. He almost always has a cross-shaped pendant hanging around his neck. He also regularly but subconsciously strips off his clothing.

Makarov sighed before turning to the next page.

"Elfman! You had an escort mission to escort a VIP, but you ... assaulted him during the mission." Makarov said as Elfman looked down a bit and said, "He said men are all about education, so ..." while Makarov turned to the next page.

Elfman Strauss is a large, muscular man with a tan-colored skin tone, whose height causes him to tower over most of his fellow guild members. His long white hair is styled upwards in long, wavy spikes, his dark eyes possess no visible eyebrows, and his rectangular, elongated face has a stitched scar running down its right side, crossing his right eye.

"Cana, drinking 15 barrels of alcohol ... is a bit much, but charging it to the council??" Makarov yelled as Sharon was holding himself back from bursting into laughter.

Cana Alberona is a tall and slim tanned-skinned young woman with an ample bust. She has mid-back-length brown hair with varying shades of brown. Two shoulder-length strands of hair frame her face, with the left one starting from a prominent, high fringe.

"They found out, huh?" She asked quietly.

"Loke ... flirting with the council member elder Reiji's granddaughter. A certain talent agency also charged us for damage compensation too!" Makarov said as the orange-haired guy just looked away.

Loke is a young man of average height, distinguished by his delicate facial features and his orange hair. His hair is kept in a mildly short, spiky cut, with spiky strands covering his forehead, and other, longer ones jutting upwards from the top of his head.

Makarov then turned to the next page and sighed deeply.

"... and Natsu ... you've destroyed the Devon thief family, but also destroyed 7 other houses that belong to the townspeople. Leveled a historical clock tower in Tully village, burned down a church in Freesia, and damaged parts of Lupinus castle. Caused the Nazuna Ravine Observatory to collapse and stop operations, and then ... destroyed more than half of Hargeon's port." Makarov said as he looked deflated.

"Alzack, Levy, Reedus, Warren, Bisca, all of you guys ... the council members are angry at me all the time ..." Makarov said as he froze and started shaking.

Sharon glanced at Lucy who was visibly shaking while Makarov started talking again.

"... Forget about the council members." He said as the stack of papers exploded into a fire and fell, which Natsu quickly consumed.

"Listen up. The power to overcome reasoning is born from reasoning. Magic ... is not a miracle. When the 'spirit' flow within us, and the 'spirit' flow in nature connects, they will form an embodiment for the first time." He began as everyone was watching and listening.

"You will need a strong mentality and a lot of concentration for that. I mean pouring all of your soul into whatever you do is the magic. If you keep worrying about the watchful eyes of the higher-ups, your magic won't improve." He said with a wide grin.

"Do not fear the fools of the council. DO WHATEVER YOU THINK IS RIGHT! THAT'S THE WAY OF THE FAIRYTAIL MAGES!" He said as the entire guild began to cheer.

Once the speech was over, Lucy was taken by Mirajane to get her mark, while Sharon was drinking with Cana.

"Hey Cana, did you really put the tab on those guys? That's hilarious." He said with a laugh as he lowered the barrel from his mouth as she was laughing.

"I know right? You should've seen the look on the guy's face when he thought I was part of the council. It was priceless!" She said as she laughed.

"So ... Natsu is called Salamander in other towns? It ... does make sense." One of the guild members said as Sharon sighed.

"I know right? How did he not know?" He questioned as Natsu was eating flames.

"Sharon! Natsu! Look, Mirajane gave me the mark of Fairytail!" Lucy said as she appeared behind me.

I glanced over and gave a thumbs-up before putting the barrel down, while Natsu was seemingly busy stuffing his face as he glanced over and said, "Good for you, Luigi."

"It's Lucy!!" She screamed as everyone chuckled a bit.

"Welcome to the guild ... Lucy," Sharon said with a smile as she nodded with a blushed face.

A bit later, Sharon noticed Lucy walking towards the job request board where Natsu was. Meanwhile, Mirajane appeared behind Sharon as she put her arm around his neck.

"Hmm? Mirajane, what's up?" Sharon asked as the moment he turned around he could feel something soft collide with his lips. Before he knew it, Mirajane had snuck her tongue into his mouth. He smirked a little and began fighting for control.

A minute later, she moved back as she took in some air, with a seductive smile, while the two gazed at each other with a warm expression.

"PLEASE LOOK FOR HIM!! I'M WORRIED ABOUT HIM!" a young kid named Romeo yelled as he looked at Makarov, causing everyone to turn to him.

Romeo Conbolt is a slim, young boy with straight, dark purple hair. His bangs are particularly prominent, covering part of his forehead, with some smaller strands jutting outwards from the top of his head. He has large eyes and a small, mildly round nose.

"NO WAY!! YOUR DAD IS A WIZARD! WE HAVE NO WIZARD WHO CAN'T TAKE CARE OF HIMSELF! GO HOME AND DRINK SOME MILK OR SOMETHING!" Makarov shouted back as Romeo sniffled a bit.

"Idiot!" the kid yelled as he punched Makarov and ran away.

Lucy who had walked towards Sharon earlier asked, "It's very strict in here, isn't it?"

"Master is like that, but he's worried about Macau too," Mirajane said as Sharon had a pained expression form on his face.

The next moment a loud bang was heard when Sharon noticed Natsu walking away from the guild's request board, which had an unfamiliar hole, in a pissed-off mood.

He sighed and walked after him, and when he reached him, he was able to see Natsu's expression.

'I guess it's still eating away at him, huh?' Sharon thought as his fingers caressed the pendant hanging around his neck with a nostalgic expression.

Natsu and Sharon both just walked out as Lucy noticed Natsu had an angered expression, while Sharon's was more pained.

"Wh-what happened all of a sudden?" Lucy asked as Mirajane sighed.

"The same thing happened to Natsu, in a way. His father hasn't come back ever since he left. As for Sharon, his father won't come back. Though, by father, I mean foster father ... a dragon." Mirajane said as Lucy was utterly shocked.

"A DRAGON?? They were raised by dragons? How could I believe that?" She asked as Mirajane chuckled a little.

"The two of them had very similar pasts. They were found by a dragon when they were young. Their dragon parents had taught them everything. Words, cultures, magic, everything. But then ... one day ... they vanished. Natsu is still trying everything he can to someday meet his father again." Mirajane said as Lucy looked down a bit.

'Father, huh?' She wondered as the name Igneel popped into her head from the earlier conversation she had with them.

"Natsu's father ... must've been Igneel," She said as Mirajane nodded.

"Isn't it cute?" Mirajane asked as the two laughed a little.

"By the way, are you and Sharon ...? Lucy asked as she smiled with a slight blush.

"We started going out about 2 years ago," Mirajane said with a cheerful smile as Lucy felt a slight pang in her chest.

Thinking it was nothing significant, she ignored it as she glanced over at Sharon and Natsu leaving the guildhall.

"I'll go with them." Lucy decided as Mirajane nodded.

"Be careful!" Mira said while waving her hand, as Lucy nodded and ran after the two boys and the flying cat.
