Volume II: Chapter 10: Phantom

A girl with long silver hair and eye covering appears walking in front of them. She was led and guided by a white creature and a black creature at her back.

The gray creature put Hidelga down near the emperor and the emperor carried her in his arms.

The number of opponents is still increasing.

So she spoke, "Ego, ID" she uttered and the black creature behind her together with the gray creature attacked the enemy.

"I told you a lot of times to leave this place but she is so stubborn that she stays and I let you enter here just to convince her but it all went to this," Maraya said.

"Why don't you just leave the first thing you found out the truth?" she continued.

She knows the answer to her question. It was Hidelga.

yet she still asking for it.

"Ricka" she called.

And Ricka appeared from behind her.

"Lead them out," she said.

Ricka who is standing there came forward and told them to follow her.

'This is what's really unexpected' he thought.

"Wait," he called to Maraya, "I disrupted the disruptor because I wanted to talk to you," Emperor Evan said.

"Why?"

"I am the second son of the Empire's one and only pioneer" the first time he introduced himself.

"I need to get my empire back," he said.

Her face tilts towards Ricka and then back to him, "So you are the insane 2nd son of the ambitious emperor? (According to what she heard)" she asked.

"Since we are done with the introduction, who the hell is that one" she turned to Ricka.

RIcka smiled, "I'm glad that you are interested in knowing more about me, you're Highness," she said.

"I am Rickazelya, I am the eternal threader of Nullus Valla," she said. The sacred weapon tamer.

Nullus Valla is different from the sacred weapon of the beast tamer duke because Nullus Valla is a weapon for suspension that's why she is with Maraya. It also explains how she can tame the whispering paradox inside him.

"So what is the problem with the tamer?" Emperor Evan/Leon asked.

Even though she is the tamer she can lift the pain and suffering from him. The mind weapon is untamable in front of her.

"I would like to talk to you alone," she said.

"Tell me right now, we don't have place and time to spare," he said.

"As you can see, eternal weapon retain their power and form all these years, however. I am different, I lost the ability to use my sacred weapon and it begins with not being effective with Maraya. yet still I kept by her side and was responsible for the information and connections outside the forgotten city." she said.

"Allow me to come with you, you're Highness if I regain my sacred weapons power. I can tame Maraya once again and you can bring her to your side." she offered.

Leon smiled, "What do you want in return?" he asked.

"I want a son from you," she said.

Everyone was dumbfounded.

Alas commented, "How can you come up with that condition, you're desperate?" he said.

"Ricka, Hidelga is my friend so I am not agreeing to this" Maraya stated.

"But I am not taking back my plea," she said.

An earthquake was felt all throughout the place and the ground cracked open, dark vine suddenly appeared from those cracks and attacked them. It reached Leon's arm and foot which made him lose balance and almost made Hidelga fall to the ground.

It leads him off-guard and those vines pull Hidelga away from him.

It pulled Hidelga into the crack and closed the mouth of the earth.

"I'll bring her back" Maraya stepped out volunteering.

6 feet below the ground she goes to where the vines wanted Hidelga to be buried alive. Unaware that Alas was about to wake her up.

She went and got her back.

It has an underground nest with crystal minerals serving it as gems. It appears like a pool of parasites located in a treasured chest,

She managed to tame the vines and approached Hidelga. She was about to touch her face when she opened her eyes.

She regains her consciousness.

A few moments of silence filled the place until Hidelga attempted to speak.

"You are? Maraya aren't you?" she asked.

Hidelga was almost hit by the monster's poisonous branches but Maraya blocked it herself using her own body.

"This is now too much. I hate it" she said and cried.

'The heavens are too much' HIdelga thought. Hidelga's tears flow seeing the same scene she witnesses when her family dies. "I won't die, silly," she said and smiled, Hidelga removed her eye cover. 'So, she is not blind' HIdelga thought

"So, that's what colors look like?" she said because she really forgot about what colors look like when she is seeing the world in darkness for so long."But you still feel pain," Hidelga said.

Maraya smiled.

"Run towards the port. I made you a ship," she said., "Both of you must escape" she emphasizes. Hidelga doesn't want to comply. "Thank you" she smiled, touching Hidelga's face. She is grateful for her sincere concern. Then shift to a much more solemn expression.

"I'll delete the memories you have with me and replace them with the two of you leaving my place normally," she said. "So you won't be in anguish while you are away" she added looking at Hidelga.

"However, if it's the will of God. We will meet again as you will remember she assured me.

They return with the others.

Maraya looked at Leon, now that she already given the instruction needed. They must leave.

When they reach the location there are other creatures guarding the ship so they can depart safely. When they have already made it on the deck, humans appear like people who seem traveling along with them (like the ghost of the Titanic). So they won't speculate at all. Both of them don't remember anything when the engine started and the ship began to move forward. Everything was devoured by chaos and reset.

Now they are sailing to the most neutral part of the empire, the temple. However, she likes to go to the deck gazing at the ship staring in the direction where they were before. 'It feels like there is something wrong like something is missing' she thought and sighed but she could not recall anything.

'Yet she retain your memories" Ricka told Leon.

"She doesn't want to hurt Hidelga." he said.

When they reached the port the ship sailed back holding nobody and disappeared in the middle of the ocean while the people who came along with them. Disappears into thin air without anyone noticing it.
