Afterword

BELIEVE ME THIS IS NOT A PROFESSIONALLY WRITTEN STORY. I know this is not as good as the others that are currently available on the net but considering the effort and everything to make it interesting, this is a decent read.

Anyway, this novel was inspired by a long-forgotten childhood fantasy of being a game developer. Naturally, this does not imply that I was unfaithful. I've always been fascinated by science and technology. To tell you the truth, I was intending on graduating and working in the fields of Earth Science, Biology, and Applied Robotics. Nonetheless, as a proven Light Novel reader and admirer, producing my own novel is unquestionably one of my ultimate aspirations.

The details of the story are merely a snapshot of my old self. Since virtual reality is gaining popularity around the world. I was telling myself all the time. If I ever had the opportunity. I'm not sure what kind of game I'll make. Since that dream is still a mystery, how about I make a tale out of it? That is the start of my adventure to write my first full-length novel. In essence, this plot revolved on the game and how it works. When I was reading an essay about virtual reality and world-building, several points were explained in an unreal manner, but they made sense at some point. There are also interesting points as well that I was eager to explore in the story.

Is it really possible for us to transport ourselves in a virtual world, or rather a world formed by numbers? How would that shape our reality? What is real anyway. As far as I'm concerned this is the concept this story wanted to answer.

The real reason I wrote this story is that I am now in a position to finally realize a previous desire, and writing a novel (for myself) is the first step in making it a reality. I also acknowledge that I am a newbie writer, a beginner. But what does it matter? I wrote a story and shared it with the world. Even if it is a complete failure.... Alternatively, I wish for success. All I want to do now is write about it.

I didn't plan to tell you so much but I hope you stay tuned in the upcoming novel— The Sky, the Moon and the Earth II, alternatively entitled, Soul Acre: Dawn of the Next Gen Virtual War. I'm currently starting to write it.
