Traditions

*At school*

"Here are your midterm exams, some of you need to study more." The professor looks at everyone.

"Woah I got a good grade guys what did you get?" Hiroshi smiles wide as he guessed on everything.

"I got a bad one.." Haruki gives a look of a, 'and I tried my best' face.

"I did too. Hehe." Rei fake laughs in disappointment.

"You know what guys? We should celebrate that it's over and we can all come to my house." Hiroshi says happily.

Haruki looks at Rei as he doesn't know if she will be okay with going.

Rei nods at Haruki confirming it's okay, "I'm down to go."

"Okay dope I'll go to the store before hand and get some snacks then you guys can come when you're ready." Hiroshi smiles wide and excitedly.

*At home*

"Okay I need to get ready but I don't know what to wear." Rei looks at her closet as she has a blank mind. "I'll just shower first then pick something out."

Rei takes a quick shower and gets a cute outfit ready. "Some grey baggy sweats with a black shirt and some black shoes should be good."

She looks in the mirror and thinks, 'I hope he'll think it's cute too.'

*Meanwhile*

"I feel so refreshed and clean, ah I know something perfect to wear." Haruki takes out shorts and a tank top then puts on flip flops. "Perfect!" Haruki walks out of his room comfy.

"Oh… you're not going to dress up?" Rei looks at Haruki confused.

"Nope we're just going to his house so I'm just wearing home clothes, you should too." Haruki scoffs. "You look pretty though, so you can go like that."

Rei starts to blush as she looks down and walks out of the doors.

*At Hiroshi's house*

"Hey guys welcome." Hiroshi says as he slides the door open.

Haruki and Rei both walk in the house and take off their shoes.

'Woah it looks modern in the outside but traditional and amazing inside.' Rei thinks as she's admiring the inside of the house.

"What are we doing?" Haruki looks in the fridge and gets a drink.

"Watching a movie then I'm kicking you out because I need to sleep." Hiroshi says as he puts the movie on.

"Well alright I'm down." Haruki scoffs and sits on the couch.

Rei sits next to Haruki and there hands graze against each other during the movie.

"Oh I'm sorry, I'll move." Haruki says as he scoots away from Rei.

Rei grabs his hand and pulls him closer, "No it's okay."

Haruki looks at her confused, "Okay? Pfft"

*After the movie*

"Alright let's go home. Since SOMEONE is kicking us out." Haruki jokes with Hiroshi.

"Hey I'm tired now get home safe." Hiroshi laughs and pats Haruki.

*At home*

"So why did you grab my hand?" Haruki asks as he's looking at Rei's face.

"I just.. I don't know." She says as she's looking down frowning.

Haruki touches her face gently and makes her look up at him.

"It's okay Rei. You don't need to explain." Haruki smiles then kisses her forehead. "Go to sleep and rest. We can talk about it tomorrow if you want to."

Rei blushes, "O-okay." She smiles wide as she walks to her room. 'Maybe he likes me too.'
