As Katie's brother Alex seals, the deal, between the business offer, a small interruption was involved after the deal was accepted between both the parties, Alex got shot to protect his new business partner. Leaving the room with three bullets in his right arm, and catching the culprit, he would deal with them a little later on.

Going back to Akeem pack house, Kate was always around Alecs until it was nearing her finally term exams, it been more than three weeks and Kate have two weeks more before the exams, she studies while still being around Alec's, enduring and enjoying their little moments together, Alec's had barely spoken a word other than Katie's name.

Alec's is overwhelming with the blissful feeling of having her mate around, the only thing she can say at the moment is Katie name, and to make sure Katie stay clear away from any unmated wolf, since Katie and Alec's haven't mated yet, it can send a signal to other wolf that she is free railing materials.

But in the background, there may be a traitor among Alex's mafia or work planning to plot at him and his family, and maybe they have found about Katie being the mafia or maybe the found out she is the only relative he has yet, what every they are planning will not have a good outcome it will be only time that will release the chaos waiting to be unleashed.

Sorry if it is too short, I am thinking about releasing chapter 11 later, so we'll all just have to wait and see.
