Chapter 1.

There was laughter all around, music piercing through hearts as souls made their way to the dance floor excited to the core on how many bottles one was able to gulp down in 2 minutes. Screams burst out of joyous spirits, swaying hips, naked oily bodies moving seductively and in tune to the music, faces of drunk men smiling enthusiastically to the movement.

Jayla sat admiring the men who were admiring the beautiful ladies and eventually taking one to the other side of the pub. She had had an awful day right from when her boyfriend dumped her to when she lost her best friend. She had never tried drinking though she had been to the pub countless times with her ex boyfriend who likes to drink but her broken heart made her try drinking.

She was busily finishing her 6th glass of schnapps when someone came up to her and uninvited sat beside her on the counter.

"Hey, who invited you here?" Jayla asked out of sheer carelessness.

"Umm, ma'am, that's the owner of the pub you're speaking to" the bartender voiced out "Err, sorry Sir, she is quite drunk "

Jay just sat there watching the nervous face of the young looking bartender and the face of the pub owner under a beautiful dark satin mask. He looked like a Knight in suit and tie.

She looked him up and down and from his looks, he looked sexy and hot. "Wonder if he's good in bed" Jay wondered still eyeing the innocent young man beside him.

"Hello .....?" The pub owner emphasised on the 'hello' trying to fish out her name and Jay gave him the benefit of her sexyness. "Jayla...Jay for short" she said. 'My name is Ethan McHills and l think your time is far spent here. There would be no drinks for you anymore " He stated surprisingly cold. 'What!!!!, No way, l am paying for the drinks, not that l ain't paying, what do you mean???!!' Jay shouted angrily. Ethan made a gesture to some people behind her and as if it was all planned, they came up and scooped her up like an ice cream and threw her out of the pub. She stood outside and started cursing on top of her voice.
