The House

She woke up early to clean the house. Her border will come today to check the room and upon deciding, her previous bedroom now became available for renting while she occupies her parent's. Both of the spaces had a bathroom attached to it and downstairs, the kitchen resembles a great place for cooking and widespread for a living space in the living room.

It was already ten o' clock in the morning when she finished cleaning. The woman said she'd arrive half an hour early and so she immediately took a shower and prepared for clothes to wear. She decided to agree with the condition of taking in a border, only if it were a woman so she can be comfortable.

Oddette is already at work around this time, knowing that she starts around seven o' clock in the morning until three in the afternoon. As she fidgeted on her phone, her mind automatically flew and remembered Zoren calling her Senorita.

As a young woman, of course she felt happy and flattered-even thrilled! He's tall with a muscular body; thinking how to be embraced by that body and his lips that are full of lust. She wishes that one day she can taste those lips.

She heard a bark coming from her neighbor's dog; it dragged her out of her illusion. She noticed herself staring at her reflection on her parent's full length mirror with those deluded thoughts, touching her soft lips. She shook her head, embarrassed and ashamed of herself. She's too young to think like this.

She quickly went down when she heard a knock from the main door. It's probably the visitor she was expecting. Upon

arriving at the entrance, she motioned to twist the doorknob and pulled it open.

To her surprise, the person standing in front of her had two of her trolley bags by her side, wearing white jeans, a blue floral top and sandals. Her hair motioned straight from her back tied towards her nape; she was also wearing eyeglasses with pinkish red lips curling into a smile.

"Hi, you must be Emmie?" a woman's voice backs her from her senses. "I'm Miranda, Mira for short," the woman introduces herself. If you look at her closely, you can guess that her age may be around in her twenties.

"Yes, I'm Emmie, come in." She opened the door to let her in. "I never thought you will come today with your stuff." She was about to help her take her bag when suddenly, there was a hand holding onto the handle of the bag. She raised her head to look at the person and to her surprise, it was a man. He was wearing a black corduroy pants with a white collared shirt.

"I'm sorry," she apologized as she almost put her hand on the back of the man's hand.

"It's okay," the man said, smiling. She can see his dimple on both sides of his cheeks. She didn't notice the man earlier; her focus was on Miranda. She gave way and let them sit on the sofa as she went to the kitchen to get drinks for them. She opened the fridge, taking out a freshly made orange juice and gave it to them.

"My apologies, Emmie. I wasn't able to tell you that I will be moving now. It's all because I didn't have enough time to look for any other rooms. The pictures you sent me yesterday passed my standard plus knowing that it will only be me and you, I feel much safer," she explained.

Emmie smiled. So Miranda will be her border and her companion in the house but what about this man next to her? She told her that she'll be the only one living so why is this man here?

Miranda noticed her gaze towards the man sitting next to her. "Oh sorry, this is my boyfriend Alfred," she introduced, pointing towards her partner. "He's a teacher like me. We're both teaching in Himalaya high school." Her forehead knitted. She comes to the same school and so she was curious as to why she couldn't recognize the two.

"Actually, we just transferred not too long ago," she added, almost as if she can read her mind.

Emmie nodded her head, her lips curling into a smile. "Actually I'm in twelfth grade at Himalaya High School."

"Oh, that's great." Miranda grinned. "Anyway, if you're worried about him

"Don't worry; he's staying with his cousin's. He just came by to help me move in," she explained before turning her head side by side. "By the way, where are your parents?"

Upon hearing the term 'parents', her face immediately saddened. Even if it hurts, she needed to be strong since she's living alone. She has no one to depend on, added that she needs to quickly adapt to the situation.

She feels her eyes building crystals in the corner. She tried to hold it in, looking upward before shifting her gaze back to Miranda. "T-They're already dead," she mouthed. "They're among those passengers who died in a plane crash last month," she added, her voice cracking. She tried to keep herself under composure but still failed to do so. Tears started streaming down her cheeks.

"I'm sorry to hear that," Miranda apologized.

"No, it's okay. I'm sorry for being emotional." She wiped off the tears from her eyes and smiled at them.

Since Miranda agreed to pay the advance and deposit, they both agreed about the rules and sharing bills.

Miranda was finally her border.

Since today was also her first day of work, when the time came, she quickly prepared herself. She wasn't able to help her border with unpacking and managed to leave them at the house for the time being.

When she arrived at the shop, she headed straight to the locker. As she opened the door, her eyes quickly bulged in shock.
