Chapter 14
TRINITY HAS swollen eyes the next day. Damn. I regretted crying, she thought.
She’s brewing her coffee when her door buzzer rang. Who would visit her, early at five in the morning? Not bothering how she looked, she marched through the door and opened it.
“Yes—” her eyes widened when she saw who it is. She then suddenly closes the door. Her heart palpitates. She bites her lower lip. Zach is here, she mumbled.
Zach knocks again. “Trinity,” he said, loudly so she can hear it.
Does he need to shout? He might disturb the people living next door.
She runs her fingers through her hair, combing it. She looked down, holy shit, I have no bra, she cursed.
She then immediately gets her robe to cover her body, heaving a deep sigh… she opens the door.
“Zach, what brings you here?” she managed to ask. She looked into his deep gray eyes. She can’t see any emotion in there. He seems cold. Why is that? But he looks perfect in his black suit.
