Descent into Shadows
"Alex! Please! Hold on!" Sarah cried, her voice barely breaking through the overwhelming darkness that enveloped them. The abyss seemed endless, a whirlpool of despair and chaos that threatened to tear them apart. She grasped for him, fingers stretching into the void, desperate to feel his reassuring presence once more.
But just as her fingers brushed against something solid, a powerful force yanked her away, the shadows tugging her down into their cold embrace. "No!" she screamed, panic clawing at her throat. "I won't let you take me!"
In the depths of the abyss, a low, mocking laughter echoed, resonating within her very bones. "You're already lost, Sarah," Damian's voice hissed through the darkness. "You cannot fight what is a part of you."
