Confused

 I was really police but he said we don't have enough evidence that why he was always looking around my parents things when they weren't around then we heard our parents voices calling us we immediately came outside so they won't look for us but after the revelation I couldn't behave the usual way to my parents my brother notice it and said I should behave like I know nothing so they won't get suspicious but all he said made me fear my parents more and feel my brother as my only friend but everything changed when I heard my brother talking about a robbery and how they cash out I was confused was my brother also an arm robber ?
