Daniel saw the news that Bella got arrested. His heart beat increased rapidly. Richard was still sleeping after taking some sleeping pills last night. Daniel was in a daze, he didn't know what to do. He wasn't comfortable with the fact that Richard turned himself to a murderer. He always helped his boss do some dirty jobs but nothing like killing someone. 

"What do I do? What am I supposed to do?" He asked pacing around the living room. 

If the police were to get there, they will both be arrested as accomplices. His family will then be disappointed in him, he would lose a lot of things. 

"I know nothing about what is happening. I don't want to go to jail for a crime I did not commit. I don't want to be convicted for another person's crime. If I call the police now, I'll get a chance to escape. If Richard finds out I betrayed him, he might kill me." He thought still pacing around the room.
