Professional or Newbie?

PS2D (short for Professional Stage Director Dao) obviously disliked people not following his script. According to our short conversation I was clearly supposed to be a mini-boss. Therefore, I was naturally a bit irritated since that meant I didn't have the opportunity to gather karma and would probably be fully occupied with this mini-boss job. Hence, I figured that I should quickly complete the job assigned to me since obviously I would just be getting a smiting if I tried to hand in a resignation letter.

Thus, I pulled out a few strands of my long hair. Everyone gave me a weird look but I ignored them and began tying my hair strands into a net which I then spread on the floor after sitting down. I gave general Liu a glance and shook my head as I poured my spiritual qi into the hair net formation.

"I'M FINALLY FREEEEEE!!!!" A shrill voice screamed out as a mini whirlpool formed overhead. Suddenly a large obsidian colored six armed super ugly demon dropped from the sky. The sky instantly darkened and flashed with black lightning again as time stopped.

"Lin Ye! I said follow the script! Why did you summon the 12th step demon that was sealed in the sky already? You were only supposed to do that after chapter 200!" PS2D hollered. However, his voice was clearly weaker. My guess was that this time stopping ability definitely took a toll on him when it involved such a powerful demon being summoned.

"You told me to be an obedient mini-boss, so I clearly performed to the best of my abilities! After 200 chapters I would be around the 8th step and then summon the demon, however as the first mini-boss of the book I obviously need to have some talent! That's why I summoned the demon while being at a lower cultivation base so that the reader's don't forget me!" I yelled back.

"If you make me waste my energy stopping and resetting time again I will send you straight to yama! You think I can't find another person to be a mini-boss?" PS2D growled back.

"Liu Meili has 2 fiances?" I asked confused.

"What? No, there is just you!" PS2D said equally confused.

At this moment I suddenly smiled.

"What are you smiling for?" PS2D asked nervously.

"Obviously, I am smiling because I realized that I have the irreplaceable role of the mini-boss. You can't kill me or you lose the miniboss! More importantly, you are incapable of smiting my soul and erasing my existence. If all you can do is send me to yama, then… hehe… let's see the worst you can do!" I shouted. "The moment you reset time I will break the sky seal and open up this world to all of those demon's that have surpassed the 15th step and reached the 1st step Saint rank!"

"You, you, you're crazy!" PS2D's voice wavered this time. Clearly it was not just weakened by stopping time when this demon was released, but it was getting increasingly weaker as it held the demon in place forcefully. Why? Because this demon had a special ability that allowed it to be unaffected by time related abilities! If the one doing the time freeze was anyone other than PS2D that demon would have long since awoken. This showed me that although PS2D was powerful, it also had a weakness. Clearly, it was unable stop time for me, since even when it reset time I was still standing in my position and now, when it had to keep this demon in that spot, it was costing PS2D effort and energy.

I laughed aloud. I guess this was due to my sudden realization that PS2D might actually be helpless against me. If for no reason other than the fact that the first mini-boss of the book was supposed to be

Finally, PS2D asked exasperatedly, "What exactly do you want?"

Ahem, sorry about that. Anyhow, this is what really happened.

After that despicable fellow summoned the demon from the sky, I was forced to freeze time once again in exasperration. The demon that was summoned wasn't a 12th step demon, it was merely of the 8th step and Lin Ye was completely incapable of controlling it.

"Lin Ye! I said follow the script! Why did you summon the 12th step demon that was sealed in the sky already? You were only supposed to do that after chapter 200!" I yelled after freezing time again.

"I'm just being an obedient mini-boss and doing my job! Please great Dao, I just want to be a good mini-boss," Lin Ye said while crying pitifully. Well, he said something like that, I just remember he was crying pitifully when he was talking.

"Oh, you think you can be smart with me huh? I am more than well aware that you summoned this demon because it has a certain immunity to time skills. Were you accepting me to become weaker due to this ploy of yours?" I asked.

"No no no, of course I wouldn't want you to get tired like that!" He replied making a pitiful face. "Please allow me to be your servant for eternity!" he begged. Then we got where we are today!

Hello again readers. Ignore those buffoons. Dao refuses to admit it, but what I told you was actually the truth, okay. I can admit to lying about the time when I used the Pinky Finger Twitch infront of Liu Meili, but Dao is just making up nonsense to mislead you.

So anyway, after PS2D asked me what I wanted, I made a simple request.

"I want an infinite number of karma points!" I requested.

"What the hell are karma points?" PS2D asked.

At this point I was really confused. PS2D knew about Yama but had never heard of Karma points? What could be the reason behind this, I wondered. After thinking for a split second I realized the obvious, PS2D did not deserve the P in its acronym. Because this Dao wasn't a professional, it was just a newbie!
