07. The principal's son

"Happy birthday father. May you live for many more years and guide us."

Louise take out a box."This is my present father. It's not much but I hope you like it."

"No, non sense my boy. Your my one and only son. I'll be happy with which ever gift you gave me. Now why don't you go enjoy the ball."

Louise bow. "Thank you father but I would like to rest early today for I am not feeling very well."

"Are you OK dear. Do you need an physician or something."The queen look at him with worry.

"Mother I'm fine just a little tired. Then i'll excuse myself" Louise said as he bow.

Louise pov:

I left the ball and went to the back of the garden where a giant oak tree was planted. Behind the tree was a big field of flowers.

I sit under the oak tree and close my eyes. It was very peaceful. The moon shine on me as a breeze of wind hit my face. 

Louise pov;

I suddenly remember some memory. It was the first time I met Crystal.

flashback,

Louise came to the back of the garden to avoid his mentors. When he got there he saw a girl around 6 year old.

She was crying. Louise look carefully and saw that she wounded her ankle.

He approach the crying girl and handed her a handkerchief. The girl look at her like he just save his life as she stop crying.

Then they introduce themselves. He found out that she was the new adopted daugther of Duke Light.

Flashback ends;

From then on the girl would cling onto me and stick to my side whenever she had the chance.

I was so annoyed when the girl come. I hated it yet at the same time I look forward to it. 

I didn't understand my feeling back then. Then when I heard that he was engaged to her my last string of patience snap.

From then on I would start taking the girl's love for granted by avoiding her, being too close to other girls, humiliating her and many more.

One day a rumor came into my ears. It was a rumor that my fiancee was bullying people. 

I was just about to confront her when my so called fiancee lost consciousness for one week.

I didn't even visit her once. Even though I know that my fiancee would be begging to see me once she wake up.

I always knew that she will wake up one day. That she won't ever leave me. So I never visit.

Then I heard that she was coming to the palace today because father summon her.

So I purposingly invite my childhood friend's sister Delia Albert for a visit. So I can make Crystal jealous.

I was about to meet up with her in the garden when I saw Crystal push Delia into the fountain or that's what I thought.

I said some mean words to Crystal and left her while hugging Delia's shoulder. Later I found out that what he saw was an accident. 

I felt guilty but ignore it since I know that my fiancee love me too much so she'll forgive me like always.

I was gonna apologise the next time Crystal come to the imperial palace. Two days pass but I can't even find Crystal or even hears some news about her.

I just thought that she was doing it for attention and brush it off. Then after lunch father call me to his office and told me the shocking news about Crystal's disappearance.

As I was born as a prince I never value anything. I always thought that I will get everything I want.

Now that I lost something percious I felt regret? sorrow?

I didn't know what I was feeling. It was too complicated to put it to words. 

I always thought that Crystal would never leave me and always be on my side no matter what.

Now that she did I understands all my doing were wrong. I was greatful that she endure everything up until now.

"It's would have been hard for her. Who am I kidding of course it's hard. I'm such a fool."

I look up at the sky. For the past one year I has been doing my very best to find her.

I send my men all over the kingdom but she was no where to be found. I can't find anything except for the report that Crystal was last seen at a port city near the borders of Alfear.

Apart from that no news of her was heard like she just disappear from the face of the continent.

Even so I still has my hopes high. My hope that one day I will see her, my beloved fiancee, again and she would be smiling warmly at me and welcoming me with open arms.

My parents also known what I was going through but they can't do anything since this is something I have to handle by myself.

So I won't ever take anything for granted ever again. A tear slip down my face as I smile bitterly.

"Is this the punishment for hurting you Alle. If so I deserve it. If your done playing outside then please come back.

Everyone has been very worried about you. Your father, your brother, your mother, the king, queen, everyone.

When you come back I promised to be the beast fiancee you could ever ask for and never hurt you again. Just please come back."

Three years later,

Third person pov:

Crystal woke up in the middle of the night. "I'm suddenly hungry. Should I go get some food. I think there's some left over in the kitchen."

Crystal got up from bed and went to the kitchen to get some food. While she was busy searching for food, she heard the front door open and someone walk into the living room.

She can't see the person because the lights were out. She immediately kneel down and hide behind the kitchen counter.

"I thought that the dorm are only able to be accessed by the dorm members. How did a thief broke in.

Moreover how did he get into the academy." Crystal though as she quitely approach the person who is now standing in the living room.

She sneak up from behind and tackle him to the ground while holding his nape with one hand and the other holding his hands behind his back.

"Who are you? What are you doing here. How did you get in here. Answer me?"The person struggle to get out of her grip.

"I should be the one asking you. What are you doing in my dorm?" Crystal look at the man and blink twice.

"Your dorm?"Then the lights turn on. "What are you two doing?"The both of them turn their head to see a sleepy Vivian and an angry looking Zeckery.

"What's going on here. Don't you know that this is the middle of the night." Crystal let go of the person and got up.

She point at him while the other sit up and point back at her. "You know him?""You know her?"The both of them asked at the same time .

Zeckery face palm himself and sigh."Both of you sit down I'll introduce you to each other first. "

After they settle down on the couch. "Timmy this is Crystal Light the new dorm mate and Stalle this is Timmy Owen the dorm mate that we said was on a mission and yes he is the principal's son."

Crystal bow a little. "Ahhh yes. Hello my name is Crystal Light but you can call me Stalle.

Sorry for jumping to conclusion and attack you." Crystal said as she scratch the back of her head.

"It's fine. I'm Timmy Owen and I'm sorry too. It was partly my fault for sneaking in.""The both of you are in the wrong.

*yarn*Timmy broke into the dorm in the middle of the night and Stalle *yarn*she jump to conclusion and*yarn*almost kill Timmy and woke me and Zeckery up. *yarn*"

Vivian said in a sleepy voice as she rest her head on Zeckery's shoulder. "Anyway why are you downstairs in the middle of the night Stalle. "

"I was hungry so I came down to get some food. "Vivian suddenly joint up causing the other to look at her.

"Why didn't you say so from the beginning. Wait here I'll get some cookies and drinks."

Vivian rush to the kitchen to get some food. Timmy chuckles."Her mother attitude has not changed one bit has it?"

Zeckery shake his head."Yes it hasn't. So I presume that your mission is complete."

Timmy nodded. Crystal look at him and said,"If you don't mind may I know more about this mission."Timmy look at her and smile.

"How about I tell you everything from the start."
