Chapter 140 Anakin's Wedding 17

 The Barnes arrived at the marriage ceremony in elegancy. Camela has been away after the humiliation she received from the little girl who claims to be the wife of her crush. As far as she was concerned, Liam was not yet married to anyone.

She stepped into the hall in her gray colour dress gracefully. She has adorned herself with expensive jewelries as she heard from a reliable source that Mr Black would be presence at the ceremony.

Prestigious people must have attented, but they all came in the hope of getting aquainted to the man for their gains. In the business world people have friends and allies and then there are enemies.

They only hoped the man would want allies that will always have his back. But in the actual sense, they needed him for their gains, first money, then power, the last, solid protection all over the world. 

Mr Black was a powerful man, not just any powerful man like the average powerful men. He was the most powerful being anyone has seen alive. His influence in the business world was unmatched. Camela blended with the crowd as she greeted the familiar faces she has not seen in a long time.

   Half way to the party a black car parked at the entrance of the mansion where the ceremony took place. Two pairs of black shoes kissed the floor for a dark figure to step out. He was in his usual black shirt and trouser, his shadow diamond necklace was visibly hanging around his neck. Matching his white skin tone perfectly.

It was the gift his little wife got for him, maybe she didn't know how to give it to him, but unfurtunately he saw it and took it. His perfect hard chest were visible in his shirt that could make any woman drool.

Liam stepped out of his car fully, his dark hair went with the wind which ruffled it a little. He walked unhurriedly into the hall. On his arrival it was like time siezed as everyone watched the man walk in with so much power and authority radiating off of him.

He didn't need to do a thing for everyone to acknowledge his presence. The man was indeed a powerful being. He stole the attention of everyone from the bride and groom, in seconds. He scanned through every soul in the hall until his gaze stopped on a girl.

Her little blue eyes were on him, Elsa felt alive seeing her husband before her. As quick as Liam's eyes went to her, he was quick to also remove his gaze from her.

Elsa felt heavy in her chest, why did he not look at her, "Mr Black!" Daniel greeted gingerly since his wife could not face the man. Liam had his nonchalant expression on, his eyes was fixed on someone as the vein in his throat popped out.

Florence could not hold the cold gaze and she quickly moved her eyes from the man. "Mr Anakin!" "Liam you came!" "What have you got for me?" Liam asked for Daniel to know his son invited the man. Ethan smiled, when he told the man he had a surprise for him, he was only messing with him.

He knew the man's presence here alone would make Lydia stop whatever it is she has up in her sleeve tonight. And surprisingly he was right, cause the powerful woman couldn't take her eyes off Liam.

"Mr Black!" A blonde haired man walked up to him. "It's been so long since we last talked!" Jaden said with a smile. A smile that was not returned. "Jaden!" Liam called for the man to smile. He was not surprised the man ignored him. His corky attitude was very famous among the elite who knew who the man was.

"This is my cousin Bianca Balowe!" 

Bianca smiled at her cousins reintroduction to Liam. Their meeting before was not a favourable one and she has patiently been waiting for the right moment to talk to him. She was no longer the little desperate girl that seemed his attention, and by doing so, she forced herself on him.

She has trained herself for eight years now to be composed no matter what.

Liam's black eyes stared at her Hazel eyes and suddenly her heart stumbled against her chest. She became still as nothing mattered anymore.
