CHAPTER 30 Her Side

  Howard Point Of View

"Hoooh! That was close," I said after Zion turned off the call, and then looked worriedly at Crystal. "Are you sure about this? You can tell me, so I can tell him."

She shook her head. "No need, Howard. I'm sorry if I let you lie to him."

"I don't know what's going on, but I'm trying to understand your side, Crystal. Just please don't hurt my friend. Are you leaving when you see Zion?" I asked curiously.

"Yes, I'm being sent home. It is not my intention to involve the two of you anymore, and I might only hurt Zion if I prolong it, right? Thank you, Howard …" she replied.

The truth of the matter is, when I came back I found out that Crystal had left so out of sheer worry, I would have called Zion when she suddenly appeared somewhere. I don’t know how she did that, but since then, she’s been bugging me about something and that’s her departure.
