"She told me about Jayson, this was before she knew who she was, when she was tethering on the edge of feral. She couldn't speak, couldn't understand Felicia and didn't know they were even mates. At the time, he was simply J, the rogue beyond our pack who Felicia found out was her mate."

"J?" I ask in question and he laughs while nodding. "She called him J?"

"I reacted the same way." He says fondly. "Turns out Felicia isn't as smart as we believe her to be."

We laugh for a bit before he continues, a faint smile resting on his lips. His fingers still twirling around mine as he sat in front of me.
