The guards had dragged her out of the villa as she kicked and screamed. " You all will pay for what you've done to me! Let me go! Let me go now!"
Alisa snorted and turned back to face her boyfriend so they could continue the dinner date. Alexander watched his sister, with a soft chuckle escaping his lips, " you should blame father for this, it's not my fault." Saying this he turned to the couple and gave a slight nod. " I leave you to finish everything, we wouldn't want her to come back and ruine things for us. Don't forget to make it look like an accident."
Alexander turned his back and started to walk out of the room.
Alisa giggled and pulled Dave in for a kiss. " He's just as foolish as his sister." She grinned proudly. Dave held her waist tight and chuckled. " Let's leave him for now. Don't forget, we must finish Kimberly off before she makes any stupid move."
" Leave that to me, my love." Alisa smiled at him seductively. " Let put the plan into motion now, and save the huge feast for later. I'll go after her now." She walked over to the table and pulled out a gun from her bag. She checked the bullets and made sure everything was intact.
_____
Kimberly drove far away from her fiance's villa as fast as she could. Her eyes brimmed with tears as she drove on. She tightened her hand on the steering wheel aggressively, and tried to stop more tears from falling. " I won't let them get away with this, I swear." She spoke through gritted teeth.
Her father was the CEO of the company which was now being led by Dave. Kimberly had never aspired to inherit the CEO title or the 95% share of her father's vast properties. As a dedicated medical student, her passion lay in healing and helping others, not in the corporate world.
After her father's sudden passing, she felt compelled to take on the responsibility, believing her father had trusted her to lead the company. Unbeknownst to her, her father's true intentions were rooted in his disapproval of her medical career.
Despite lacking formal business education, Kimberly's natural aptitude and quick learning enabled her to learn the world of corporate finance. She faced many challenges, from skeptical shareholders to intricate business deals.
Her exceptional problem-solving skills and creative thinking earned her a respect within the company. not everyone was convinced of her abilities. Some shareholders remained skeptical, questioning her lack of business background and medical student past.
As she went deeper into the business world, she discovered hidden strengths and talents. Her medical background surprisingly proved beneficial in analyzing market trends and making data-driven decisions. " Everything I did went down the drain! I gave up my dream to become a medical practitioner all for nothing! How could Dave do such to me after everything I've been through? I was so foolish enough to think he actually loved me."
Alisa slowly trailed behind her friend's car from behind with an evil grin plastered to her face. She could've haired assassins to take care of her, but she wanted to end that witch with her own hands, so she can breathe freely.
Alisa's eyes locked onto Kimberly's car, her grip on the steering wheel tightening as she trailed behind. She recognized the winding road, a sly grin spreading across her face.
"Ah, Kimberly's going to her father's main villa," Alisa thought, her mind racing. "She must be after the original documents."
Alisa's gaze darted to the passenger seat, where her gun lay concealed. She knew the area well… the cliff nearby, the sparse traffic.
"This is the perfect spot," Alisa whispered to herself, her voice dripping with malice.
With calculated precision, Alisa accelerated, closing the gap between the two cars. Her heart pounded with anticipation.
As Kimberly's car approached the cliff's edge, Alisa made her move. With a swift motion, she pulled out her gun and aimed.
One precise shot to the tire.Kimberly's car swerved, careening out of control toward the cliff.
Alisa's eyes remained fixed on the scene, ensuring the crash looked like an accident. The sound of screeching tires and shattering glass filled the air.
Alisa's grin grew wider, her mission almost accomplished.
"No one will ever suspect a thing," she thought, satisfaction dripping from her voice.
With the documents soon to be in Dave's possession, Kimberly would be nothing but a memory.
Kimberly's eyes widened in terror as the sudden gunshot pierced the night air. Her mind racing, she felt a jolt of fear.
"What was that?" she thought, her heart pounding.
But before she could process the sound, her car began to swerve uncontrollably. The steering wheel slipped from her grasp, and the vehicle veered off the main road.
Kimberly's hands frantically grasped the wheel, struggling to regain control. But it was no use – the car continued to careen wildly.
Panic set in as she stomped on the brakes, but they failed to respond.
"No, no, no!" Kimberly screamed, her voice echoing through the night.
Realization dawned on her – the car was heading straight for the cliff.
The darkness outside seemed to close in around her, and the sound of screeching tires filled her ears.Kimberly's thoughts flashed to her family, her loved ones, and the life she had yet to live.
"This can't be happening," she whispered, her voice trembling. The car picked up speed, rushing toward the cliff's edge.
Kimberly closed her eyes, bracing for impact. Time seemed to slow down. The sound of crashing glass and twisting metal loomed ahead. And then, everything went black.
______
As Kimberly slowly regained consciousness, background voices drifted into her awareness, faint but growing louder.
She struggled to open her eyes, twitching her eyelids. Finally, her gaze focused on two nurses standing nearby, engrossed in a hushed conversation.
"...I wonder when she'll wake up, it's been six months now," one nurse said.
The other nurse replied, "Well, at least we're lucky that all we have to do is take care of her and watch over her every day, since Mr. Von Charles requested she receive proper medical care."
Kimberly's gaze locked onto the nurses, her mind foggy.
The first nurse's eyes sparkled with a dreamy quality. "Such a hot demon lord."
Her colleague chuckled. "He's not a demon lord, that's just the nickname his enemies gave him. And yes, we are very lucky. Looking after her isn't stressful, and we're the only ones with nothing much to do, yet we collect the biggest salary."
Just as the nurses shared a laugh, Kimberly's sudden sneeze pierced the air.
The nurses' heads snapped toward her, their faces surprised.
"Wait, did she...?" one nurse whispered, rushing to Kimberly's side.
"young Miss!" the other nurse exclaimed, beaming
Questions swirled in her mind, but before she could ask, the nurses began checking her vital signs and fussing over her.
As Kimberly struggled to piece together her fragmented memories, the nurses' excited chatter filled the air.
"Someone call Mr. Von Charles! He'll want to know she's awake."
