I wish it never happened

Few days after prom Lisa and Frederick never spoke about their last encounter during prom at betty's house.

Later that night Lisa woke up feeling all tired from the experience but she couldn't find Frederick's clothes which means he had gone home.

She grew angry at him for leaving her in such pain but she noticed he cleaned her up and changed her clothes which he took from Betty's room downstairs.

He left a letter on the table in the room for her. She tries to stand but couldn't until she gets a glance at the letter on the table close to the bed as she reaches for it.

She picks up the letter and opens it to read:

The letter reads;

My dear Lisa I know what happened caused you pains but please I'm truly sorry for everything I did. It's my fault and I deserve all the insults in the world.

I couldn't wait for you to wake up and see me cause I'd literally hate myself seeing you in pains. But one thing I assure you is that I will never leave you....I promise to love you now and forever. Nothing will ever separate us my dear Lisa.

I'd come over to your house for us to talk that is if you will allow me see you.

Once more please accept my apologies for what happened.

I love you;

Yours truly,

Frederick

She drops the letter in dismay and cries but the pains couldn't make her cry much.

Lisa thought of what excuse to give her mum the following day cause she would have been worried sick since her dad traveled.

"Thank goodness I'm in betty's house at least I have a good explanation for not coming back home last night" she said with assurance.

Lisa noticed some noises coming from downstairs like as though someone was shouting.

She tries to stand up from the bed in curiosity of what was happening.

Betty was yelling at Henry with anger cause she caught him taking cocaine.

Lisa manages to walk downstairs as her pain reduces.

She puts her hand on the stairs as a support for her as she walks slowly.

"I can't believe you do drugs!" Betty slammed

"Get lost you b*tch, I owe you no explanations okay! Henry replies in rage as he shoves the remaining particles of cocaine in his nose like a mad man.

Lisa finally walked down and tries to ask Betty what was happening.

"Betty what's the matter?" She asked

"Can you imagine this dumb ass takes cocaine!" Betty jolted in anger as she tries to cover her half naked breast.

"WHAT!!!!Henry whyyyyy?? Lisa flinched as she tries to support herself.

"Hey it's none of your fucking business okay?" Henry muttered rudely.

"It's her business cause she's my friend and you have no right to talk to her that way Jerk" Betty slammed back.

Henry swiftly tries to hit Betty but was held back by Frederick whom came through the back door close to the garage.

"Don't you dare lay those hands on her" Frederick reprimanded.

"You fool!" Henry jolted as he reliefs his hand from Frederick's grip.

He stared at all of them, picked up his clothes, shoes and bounced the door hard as he left.

"It's over! I'm not ever going back to that jerk" Betty sighed in relief.

"Thanks for saving me. You're indeed a good friend" Betty said as she thanks Frederick.

Lisa had never felt this kind of pain before and watching their fight made her condition even worse.

"Lisa are you okay?" He asked

"I'm fine. Thank you for looking out for her" Lisa replies.

"She's also my friend remember? He said as he kneels in front of Lisa.

"I'm sorry about what happened, I was drunk and.......

Lisa didn't allow him finish his statement before she cuts in

"No, I know we were both drunk. I wish it never happened but the deed has already been done so why feel sorry" she responds.

"I'm just glad I lost my pride to the only person I truly love and respect, so it's fine my dear"

Betty cries on hearing those sorrowful words and begins to apologise to both of them cause it was her fault.

"I'm truly sorry. I made you both drunk by giving you the drink knowing fully well it's going to affect you" She laments

"Lisa my girl, please I seek for your forgiveness. I'm such a bad friend"

"I've forgiven you already cause I love you like a sister" Lisa responds as they both hug each other tightly with tears in their eyes.

Frederick was glad to see that his girls were okay but most especially Lisa.

Frederick took Lisa home and explained to her mum that they had so much fun at the party and couldn't say no when Betty asked for them to come over to her house till the following morning.

Betty confirmed what they told her and she was convinced.

Lisa was happy that her mum never suspected anything especially when she managed to walk upstairs to her room while her mum watched her with curiosity.

"Lisa dear, are you okay?"

"Y...eeees mum I'm perfectly fine" she replies with a pretentious face.

"Dad called today but I told him you went to get groceries...you know I couldn't tell him you didn't come home last night!" Mrs Gina hollered

"Thank you mum. You're the best" Lisa responds.

"Yeah I know silly girl" her mum teased her often especially when she does something.

"Omg thank goodness" Lisa sighed in relief as she takes her bath and goes downstairs to help her mum prepare lunch.

Lisa regrets losing her pride but bears in mind that no matter what happens Frederick was going to never leave her.

He already made a promise to her and she is assured of a blissful love life with her new heartthrob. Will their love stand the test of time? well we'll see as the story evolves with more intrigue.
