Where Is This?

In a bustling city, different species of creatures, ranging from humans to beasts could be seen moving from place to place across the street. Low-level intelligence beasts pulling different carriages roamed the area.

Tall castle-like buildings and beautiful structures could be spotted as the city looked quite developed.

Triiinngg!

A portal appeared above one of the busy streets in this city and a tattered-looking man came out of it.

"Hmm, where is this?" Alusec wondered as he scrutinized the unfamiliar-looking city from above while floating.

Lots of people moving on the streets looked up with confusion on their faces as they spotted him.

Alusec remained in place for a bit as he spread his senses out to check the city.

'Did I get fooled by that guardian?' He questioned internally while slowly regretting not causing more damage to the void.

"Oh wait is that... Mount Dihinder?" Alusec spotted a dark Mountain thousands of kilometres to the east with a reddened top.

He couldn't recognise this unfamiliar city initially and thought it was unknown but upon spotting the mountain, he finally realised.

"Varadile city... Its structure has changed so much," Alusec floated in the air as he looked around more.

'Looks like I didn't get fooled then,' Alusec thought as he slowly descended.

Some of the creatures were shocked to see someone flying because it was well known that you had to be an Esei level being before unlocking flight ability.

Another reason was, planet Kondoor placed restrictions on flight abilities.

Only Omega level beings and above could fly without being restricted. This made a lot of them wonder who this man was to be so powerful yet unkempt looking.

Upon landing, the people around did not dare bump into him despite the street rowdiness.

"You... point me in the direction of a hairstylist," Alusec spoke while pointing to a humanoid-looking creature with a crocodile head.

"Me...?" the creature asked while looking around to be sure.

"Yes, you," Alusec replied firmly.

He needed the help of a native since he could barely recognise anywhere despite checking from above.

A lot of things had changed since he was last here, so he was basically a first-timer in the city.

"O-Ok." the crocodile-headed man replied, with a look of intimidation wondering why he was picked when there was not a single strand of hair on his head.

The crocodile man headed south of the city while Alusec followed beside him.

On their way, Alusec chatted with the crocodile headed man who went by the name, Chad.

Alusec wondered, 'What kind of name is that? during the five hundred thousand years that I spent away, did these creatures lose their sense of naming?'

Oblivious to what was going on in Alusec's mind Chad kept tooting away as he spoke about the city and its history.

He was no longer feeling intimidated like before, he felt that Alusec was an easy-going person who didn't let the power he had go to his head.

They got to the hairstylist's place which was situated at the edge of the city but in a commercial area. It had a sign that said, 'Amazing hands hair salon'.

Upon entering the shop, Alusec looked around only to see a reddish-brown sofa which was riddled with holes, a chair opposite a rectangular liquid-like mirror on the wall, and an obese bald man snoring while seated on the sofa.

The obese man's neck was arched to the back, with his oesophagus bloating and decreasing every passing second.

The shop was very small and looked quite run down. There were even holes in the roof and small cracks in the walls.

"Hey, Lam wake up," Chad shouted while tapping the fat man.

"Huh...?" the fat man opened his eyes to see a crocodile tapping him and a man in dirty black robes and long dreadlocks covering his face, standing behind the crocodile.

"I'm awake! I'm awake!" he shouted while jumping to his feet.

Alusec stared at the obese man, and then at his bloated hands.

"Those hands don't look amazing to me... they look fat," Alusec said while staring at the bulky man named Lam.

"Come on mister, don't judge a book by its cover. Why don't you take a seat and let me look at your hair." Lam said while guiding Alusec to sit down.

Alusec sat down and stared at the mirror while using his hands to part the dreadlocks covering his face. His dreads were so long that they reached his lower back.

'Why does he look like a caveman? See all that hair and unkempt beards. Well... time to give you a nice cut.' Lam held his chin and thought while checking Alusec out.

Shing!

Lam's right hand turned into a long sharp blade.

'No wonder there was no equipment, his hands are the equipment. He's a Flandorian....'

Alusec thought after seeing the reflection of the blade in the mirror.

"Far from home, aren't you?" Alusec asked with curiosity.

"What do you mean mister?" Lam asked while letting his right hand which was now a blade pause in the air.

"What's a Flandorian doing in Kondoor?" Alusec asked while staring at Lam's face through the mirror.

Flandor was a planet that was many stars away from Kondoor, their species were known for turning their body parts into weapons.

Lam paused for a while, his face showed a hint of remorse, but before he could answer Chad interrupted.

"Sir Alusec, don't tell me you don't know..." Chad asked from the sofa area.

"Know what?" Alusec asked with a puzzled expression.

"Flandor was destroyed over a thousand years ago..." Lam spilt the beans himself.

"What? How?" Alusec was so shocked that he stood to his feet.

Lam was surprised by his overreaction, "Weren't you aware? have you been in seclusion for more than a thousand years?" Lam inquired with a weird feeling welling up from within.

He wouldn't believe it if he was told that this young-looking man was older than him since he was still a child when his planet was destroyed.

Flandorians had very long life spans which was why he only looked like a forty-year-old despite being over a thousand years old.

"You could say that." Alusec half answered his question.

'What? just how old is he? without the facial hair I'm sure that he'll look even younger than he does now,' Lam wondered, but Chad was not surprised since he remembered seeing Alusec fly.

For someone to be that powerful he wouldn't be surprised if he was already over a thousand years old.

"How was it destroyed?" Alusec questioned again.

"Long story..... the short part being... two gods were battling each other and Flandor became collateral damage," Lam replied dejectedly.

"What? it was destroyed because of such a stupid reason?" Alusec remarked furiously.

"What are the names of those gods?" Alusec asked as rage began building up within him once more.

"Lord Borous, the god of wind and Lord Abilech, god of light.... even though they destroyed a whole planet the god-king didn't even do anything.... he just ignored it...." Lam replied with helplessness written all over his face.

"Those bastards..." Immediately after hearing their names, Alusec's face turned darker than it already was.

He could never forget those who betrayed him and they were both on his to-kill list.

'That blue haired bastard could not even keep things in order after becoming the god-king. Of course, he wouldn't punish them since they were in cahoots together scheming against me...' The aura coming from Alusec was so scary that the whole street started to quake.

He wasn't even releasing any energy since he didn't want the city to be flattened but his rage was forming an energy of its own.

Ggggbbbbbbb!!

The whole place began vibrating...

Both of them behind had their mouths wide open as they tried to keep their balance.

"Sir Alusec..." Lam brought him back to reality by calling his name.

Alusec retracted his aura and stared at them apologetically for not controlling his rage.

He silently thanked the stars that he wasn't at even 1% of his strength or the whole city would have been levelled from just the energy of his rage alone.

'just how powerful is he? just his aura caused the land to quake...' Lam and Chad had similar thoughts.

"Carry on..." Alusec calmed himself and took a sit down to let Chad continue.

'I will destroy them in the future... but for now. I need to learn how to control my rage since I've gotten used to being powerless for so long,'

Chad applied a liquid to Alusec's hair and raised his hand to cut part of his dreads.

Clang!

When his transformed hand met with Alusec's hair what he pictured in his mind didn't happen.

He thought his transformed hand which was sharp enough to cut through strong metals would cleave through Alusec hair with ease but instead, he met with resistance.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

No matter how hard he tried to cut, his blade could not go through. Alusec hair was tougher than the hardest metals in the universe.

Alusec who was lost in thoughts initially, finally noticed this problem.

"Oh, I forgot... with your level of strength you cannot cut my hair. I will boost your power temporarily." Alusec said while turning around and grabbing Lam's transformed right hand.

"Wai.." before Lam could stop him he already touched the blade.

Lam was shocked yet again because what he expected didn't happen. He thought that as soon as Alusec touched the blade, his fingers would be separated from his hands but alas he was wrong again.

"How?" Lam questioned with shock written all over his face.

When he transformed his hand into a blade he could easily cleave a normal human into two halves with a swing.

"Don't be worried... your blade isn't dull. It is just, this level of sharpness is not enough to put a scratch on me." Alusec answered.

Alusec's pupils glowed white as he transferred power into Lam's right hand.

Lam felt like he was a basin getting filled with nourishment as the power flowing into him was so pure that it made him feel very comfortable.

A sense of pleasure was building up from deep within him as his eyes turned moist.

'So his source is to upgrade a person's strength.'

Chad was shocked when he saw Lam's blade increasing by a couple of inches and looking more impervious than before.

Some weird carvings began engraving themselves on the body of the blade.

After a few moments, Alusec let go of the blade as his eyes dimmed.

Lam stared at his blade excitedly feeling speechless.

"Go on, Try it" Alusec smiled while gesturing at Lam.

Lam nodded and moved close to the wall. When his blade was about 5 inches away from the wall a long cut appeared on the wall, the same length as the blade.

"Wow, so sharp," Chad exclaimed.

There was no contact, yet, the blade was already cut a bit off the wall.

Lam looked like a little girl who had just discovered make-up as he kept staring at the blade and the mark it caused on the wall.

He proceeded to walk towards Alusec and decided to finish styling his hair before he tried slashing at anything.
