CHAPTER 25 - His Mind

3RD PERSON'S POV

The Prince's mind has been going through a lot these past few days. Ever since the day that they received the latest message from the palace, the Prince has been trying to evaluate his options.

But all of it leads to the Lady Celeste.

The King's sudden interest in the Prince's life was unexpected. Thinking his petty and impulsive lies would get through the King's conditions didn't turn out as expected.

And now, he has to deal with it and it seems like he can't deal with it alone. Since the King has already met the Lady, there's no way they will be able to remove her from the picture. At the end of the day, he knew he'd have to have the Lady to help him.

But what stops him from making any moves these past few days is the fact that making her a princess would burden her life quite as much as it has burdened his. She's have to be sealed into the royal family and there will be no turning back.
