Chapter 28 The Story Continues

It was sometime in January 2022 in my POS shop at MCC junction, I was in my shop and I saw that guy and one girl coming from across the road to the side I was staying, they came and stood beside my shop and was discussing and from their words and their expression you can tell that they were serious misunderstanding or disagreeing to agree.

It was none of my business since they were not blocking my view or my shop, they later moved back to the back of my shop and was still having their serious misunderstanding then the guy brought out the chair that was used to block the door behind my shop and placed a book he was holding on the chair and was writing something for the girl, but at the end it was a fake cheque that he was issuing to the girl.

Then after issuing the cheque to her they left without keeping the chair back the way it was when he came there, he didn't place that chair back the way it was and he just left it like that, something that is behind my shop and apparently under my care, I rushed out and called him hey hey hey hey but he pretended as if he didn't hear I was calling him, I was calling him until he turned back and said why are you calling me like that? Don't try it next time and he turned back and left.

I was speechless, I was ashamed of myself, I didn't know what to do, I shamelessly went back into my shop and was thinking about how I'm going to handle the guy because it seems as if he's intensionally testing my patience.

Since 2018 I opened my business and the guy parked into my street in 2019 it is only once that he has patronized my business and it has been the first and the last time, it was a favor that my business partner did to him the night he bought the gas, he was cooking at night his gas finished then he came outside and it was only our shop that was the only option for him.

He called one of the numbers from the banner there in our shop, it was my partners number then he agreed to go and attend to him that late at night, after that day the next thing I noticed was the guys altitude towards how he looks at me changed, it was none of my business, I don't know him, I don't even want to know a mad boy like him, so it was none of my business, I never cared.

Since then the guy has been solely committed in telling people in their lodge not to patronize my business that I cheat people and all that, meanwhile 90% of the people living in that lodge is willingly patronizing me but the guy was insistent in spoiling my business but me hence he didn't say it in my presence so it's none of my business, the people he's telling that to will come and tell me and I will not still confront the guy.

I didn't really have the energy to confront him because I've seen that he's demented, so he wasn't worth me wasting a kilo of energy confronting him, but I just realized he mistook that benevolence of not confronting him for something I don't know, maybe weakness or dumbness.

He has been castigating my business behind my back to new tenants in the lodge and I never confronted him and he now came to where I'm doing POS business to spoil something and leave it for me to bear and repair, it looks like the goat is tempting the lion so I decided to show him example of what I can do to him.

I couldn't conclude telling my friends what happened that day they had already stood up and said let's go and meet the boy, I thought of it and how it will look like for me and my guys to storm the guy in that lodge, I knew it could go south but I felt that guy has just challenged me and he's expecting to see what I can do.

I knew he could involve the police if we taunt him much but I thank God before we could get to the third floor where he is staying someone from the first floor has called him to leave his room, so when we get to his door we knocked and no one opened, we thought of breaking his door but as a wise man I reasoned it not wise, so we left as no one opened.

I even enjoyed it that way, because the information has already reached him that it is wisdom that came with his guys and they were caring bags and they were not smiling.

If you see my guys you must give way, if you see my guys you must shift from the road, hefty guys dark with brutal faces but me I'm just very small in height but incredible in my size of wisdom, so rule among giants.

On getting that information, he began to panicking asking for who to call me and beg me to calm down, fortunately for him one of my big good customers in their lodge with their security man who is also my customer and my man agreed to call me, they called me throughout that night begging me to leave the boy that he is not okay but I simply told them to tell the guy to go to that place he brought out chair he used to write cheque and keep it back the way he met it before he brought it out.

They agreed he will go and do it but it wasn't over yet to me since he has priced me so I want to bargain with him, the next day they started calling again for peace talk.
