The village was remote , disconnected with the outside world, each villager wrapped up in their own affairs. The broken down houses and near empty stalls gave it a sombre and slighting deprecative gloom about it .
They rode into the village with dire speed as they slowed down their horses to converse with some children in front of them , crouching low thinking that they were well hidden.
"Do you know where a healer is?" He asked not in angry but in a restless manner. Kaya was burning up , her skin was boiling hot as she groaned trying to move but he held her down. Her eyes were yellow in a sickly way and her lips that was once wet and moist was now cracked and dry.
The children where obviously scared of this anonymous stranger talking to them and kept quiet , eyes darting around in search of a rescuing adult. Hikaru understood their little minds and felt that they were afraid. He spoke to them in a more softer and assuringly as he pointed towards Kaya. "She is not feeling too well and we need to help her quickly. Do you know where the healer of this village is?"
Perhaps moved by his speech or a poetic sense of justice, a young boy , no more than nine years of age , rose up trembling while his peers look at him in awe. Seeing their chance , they took to running but One of the others boys tried to pull him away but he refused.
"No Yujin." He said as he faced the man with the Brown hair that had spoken. "I will show you ."
The men got of their horses as they followed the young boy down a series of cuts and corners.
"What is your name?" Hikaru asked .
"Rikiko."The little boy answered and he made a left. In front of them was a house that had been transformed in to shrine, with oracle bells and the carvings of splendorous tailed Foxes at the entrances with paintings of various colors. They climbed up a series of steps and waiting for them at the entrance. She was a middle aged lady clothes in a white garment with flowing dark hair that was weaved behind her in a single place. One was blind but only one eye as it was closed shut while the other darted around .
Lucian bowed as he brought forth Kaya in his arms. "Can you help her?"can you help us? .The woman said nothing but placed a palm on the poisoned girl's head and withdrew it.
"Bring her in quickly. Before it is too late." She turned away her robe sweeping behind her as the two men walked sedately behind shutting the doors behind them.

Lucian laid Kaya down on a flat surface . She was very weak and was now even unable to open her eyes.
seems now the Healer had already known what had happened to Kaya as she now rallied round her hall filled with different sorts of eccentricities, looking for her instruments.
"She was bitten by a Shè, a Krait." Hikaru explained unnecessarily as she nodded.
The Healer got hold of her equipment and went toward the girl . She placed a finger on her wrists and Utilizing quick hand movements , placed her hands on Kaya "She has lost a lot of blood and her energy has been depleted as well. In order to sustain her level of existence in this world , I have to channel the natural energies to heal her body."
Taking out a deft knife , She cut the spot where she had been bitten and closed her hands , holding her hands against each other. She was using the energy and aura of Kaya , using it to clean the toxins and venom from her body, accelerating the healing physical process. The woman sighed as she took away her hands from the body before her.
"What is going to happen to her?!" Lucian asked in anxiety.
"
I have done all I can for the girl." She responded as she stared at him, her eyes unblinking. "But now it all rests in her hands."
He placed his band's over Kaya's as he watched her. Her face frozen , in that moment showing the true essence of her beauty. Lucian was worried and wondered what she meant by "it all rest in her hand". all he could see what Kaya slowly dying and he couldn't save her.this made him scared to death.
"But no worries." The Healer added as she lit some incense and its fragrance filled the air. "She has a very strong spirit."
"But..." She spoke inwardly to herself. "We must hope that she is worthy of redemption by her Kitsune."
