I walked back towards the palace throne room in a completely different attire than what I had arrived in. My soft and simple yellow dress was traded in for an all-white layered gown! They had even given me hair accessories! I was too in shock to speak so I only continued walking where I was guided to. I was sure even the 4th prince did not know what was going on, his face made when I walked out of the room was also one of shock. I wanted to cry... How was it that only I could find myself in such confusing and complicated situations?!?

'The life of the female lead..' I thought to myself.

Soon, we arrived back at the throne room, as I walked in, I watched as the other girls in training gasped, some even daring to point, The 1st concubine quickly stood.

"What is this girl wearing! She dares-"

"My Lady!! You must not say that! I am afraid you will upset the heavens!!" The physician quickly bowed. Everyone in the room gasped.

"Heaven!?!" one of the girls exclaimed. The King quickly stood.

"Explain! What is the meaning of this!?" He ordered. Quickly, the Physician bowed to the king before turning to me.

"Your Majesty, I present you.." He extended his hands towards me.

"The Reincarnation of the Black Jade!" He exclaimed loudly. I blinked a couple of times.

'WHAT?!?!?!'

I couldn't believe what was just said. Me?? The reincarnation of anything?? How was this possible??? The King looked back at me, also in shock. I quickly corrected my expression before turning to face the King. I couldn't help but smile. I bowed halfway, barely bowing at all!

'If I was going to be representing heaven, I might as well go all out!' I thought.

"Greetings, your Majesty."

Everyone in the room was awestruck, there faces pale as snow one I spoke. The king, still facing me, coughed.

"Y-you? The black jade?" he turned to the Royal Physician. "Are you sure??" the Physician nodded vigorously.

"Y-your majesty, I read her chi many times!! There is an overflowing amount of energy coming from her crown charka!" He then pointed back at me "Also, look at her skin! Have you ever seen somebody with such dark skin? This is the sign of the black jade!" The Physician said. The room quickly grew quiet.

"Yes… that sounds right, I've never seen someone with such dark skin!" one girl stated.

"Yes yes! Me as well! She must be the black jade!" another said.

I felt a vein about to pop on my head.

'These girls…' I thought as I sighed deeply. Then, I suddenly remembered something. I cleared my throat.

"With all due respect royal physician, but my skin is not a sign of the black jade. However…" I paused. "Would a winged symbol represent it?" I asked slowly. The Physicians's eyes widened.

"Y-Yes! Yes! That exactly!" he said while nodding and pointing at me vigorously. He quickly turned back to the king and bowed. "Your highness, we must check if she has the mark! This will determine it!" He exclaimed. I looked back up to the king who was looking sat me curiously, I could see that his interest was peaked. He nodded.

"Alright. Maids! Go and check!" He said. I took a step back as they suddenly walked up to me.

"t-There will be no need for that." I quickly said. I pointed to my collar bone. "The mark is right here."

The room erupted into quiet whispers.

"No way!"

"Could she be lying??"

"Is it true?"

I rolled my eyes and glanced back at the maids.

"You can check if you want." I said. They turned back to the king who nodded. Bowing towards me, They carefully pulled the top of my dress down, revealing my collar bone. I watched in amusement as their eyes went wide. One maid quickly lifted her hand to try and rub the mark off. It didn't budge. They all quickly turned around to the King.

"Y-Your Majesty! It's.." The maid started. I heard the 1st concubine hiss impatiently.

"Quickly! Say it!" she barked. The maids all bowed.

"The mark is there! And it is real!!!" She exclaimed. The room was filled with voices of amazement and awe. The king himself was stunned. The 1st Concubines' face turned sour, but she quickly replaced it with a cold expression. I smiled briefly before bowing curtly.

"Your Majesty, as this has been revealed, you must thank the Queen on my behalf! Without Her, I would have trouble with revealing this." I paused, "If I remember correctly, I hear the Queen is feeling unwell, I would like to visit her if allowed and assist her, your Majesty." I said eloquently. "And also, I would like for my handmaid to be removed from the prison. She as well did not know of this secret I had kept to myself. The king thought for a moment before nodding.

"Guards, quickly remove her maid from the cell!" He ordered. The guards bowed before rushing away. My smile only got bigger as I saw the Concubines face darken. The King motioned towards the 4th prince.

"He shall guide you to the queen's manor. 4th prince, guide her to the queen's manor." He said. The 4th Prince bowed.

"Yes, your highness." He said. The 1st concubines face brightened as he spoke, a smirk making its way to her face. I squinted in confusion.

'Why was everyone acting strange at the mention of the 4th Prince??' I thought. 'I would have to ask Bella later.' I turned to look at him. He gave me a small bow as well. I quickly bowed in response.

'There was no way such an insignificant character could end up becoming a conflict. Right?'
