The nightfall is upon them and a fire is placed in the middle of the palace yard, but covered from the people. Keiran is there with Skotos on his side. Roen takes care of some ingredients that he will place in a big container that is filled with boiling water.

Arianna is inside looking outside her window. She sighs, knowing what needs to be done. The moment she realized their attraction to blood, she remembered reading about it. Inside her veins there’s God’s blood and they can mend things, like the broken wings of an angel.

But it isn’t just any God that can heal. And that’s why she is afraid her plan won’t work. But then again, Akiya did say that she is the answer to their union.

Eve approaches her, holding a red ribbon. /"Is this enough?/", she asks while she unfolds it.

/"Yes, it will do/".

/"You look beautiful/", Eve says, fixing her dress.
