THE SMART MOVE I

It was about eleven thirty am. The intercom phone in the hotel room rang. Still in his sleeping mood, he moved slowly to the phone. He picked up and said, Ella what's up? Unfortunately, it wasn't Ella but Wendy, the lady who had taken over the shift from Ella. Instantly, Daniel's expression was down, and he replied, what is it? Wendy asked, are you? Retaining the room or checking out because it was almost noon. Daniel paused for a while because he had the intention of sleeping with Ella before going to his hometown. Wendy keeps calling, Hello, Hello are you there?  Finally, he responded and said, I'm coming downstairs now. Daniel dressed up, put on his sandals and went to reception, getting there. Daniel saw a beautiful black lady, more pretty than Ella. Good morning, Mister Laurence, Wendy greeted.  Good Morning pretty Damsel, You can call me Daniel, he responded. By the way, how did you know my last name, Daniel asked? My colleague took down your details, didn't she? Wendy replied, with a deep emotional appearance like they had been in love for a long time. Of course, she did, Daniel replied to her. I'm guessing you also took her details. She said that with a funny jealous look, Daniel smiled, because he was a professional at womanizing. Back in the state, his friends called him Commissioner for women's affairs, and with the look on Wendy's face, he knew what to do. What is your name, Daniel asked? Wendy, she replied to him," I will be in my room for four days more." Then he pulled out his credit card and gave it to her. As Wendy received the card they both looked into each other's eyes and smiled. Daniel stylistly gave her his business card and said, chat me up. Wendy replied, Okay. Meanwhile, Daniel had booked four days more, because he had the intention of sleeping with both Ella and Wendy within the space of four days before leaving, as a professional Playboy. Daniel returned to his room and found out his sister, Gold, had called him many times. So he put a call through to her, and she was with their father and other sib who lings, and they were all happy to hear that he was in the country. Daniel asked everyone to come visit him at Gold's house, even though his father wasn't too happy about him staying at Gold's place, but he had to respect Daniel's decision. The moment Daniel dropped the call, you find out that Wendy had messaged him on WhatsApp saying hi, it's me Wendy. Their chat lasted for hours and all Daniel was doing was to make sure his charms worked on her, and he could sleep with her, and Wendy said"I wish I was in the room with you right now. Daniel replied to her, How about we make that wish come through tomorrow morning as you hand over to your colleague? How? Wendy asked him. When you close, I will meet you at the junction, and we can go to another hotel and spend the whole day there. Wow, Wendy replied, that sounds nice. It's a deal then. As soon as they both end the conversation, Daniel remembered that he hadn't eaten or spoken to Rhoda, letting her know that he was in Nigeria. Aside from being the personal assistant to Daniel, Rhoda was a student of the University of Lagos who was involved in pageantry, and she was the most beautiful campus queen in Nigeria. Daniel picked up his phone and called her. He told her to come see him at the city center hotel and that she should bring food for him. Rhoda was very excited to hear from her boss because she hadn't seen him in two years since she left the United States of America, but she had been effective at keeping the work details and the boss's to-do list. She was keeping up with both local and international meetings online. However, Daniel was a hard man to deal with because he always made fast moves in business and Rhoda was the only one who could keep up with him.

Two hours later, Rhoda arrived at the hotel looking stunning and beautiful. She walked to the reception and asked for room three zero six. She was led to the room, so she knocked. Daniel replied, Yes, who is that, because he thought it was room service because he wasn't expecting her to come that quickly. As Daniel opened the door, behold it was Rhoda who jumped, hugged him, and screamed. I couldn't believe my eyes, seeing my handsome boss, Daniel, holding her tight, holding her and saying, So good to see you fast. Rhoda looked stunning and very attractive, so they ate together and gisted for a while, but the more the gist lay the more there was tension in the atmosphere, and they got closer together and lay down on the bed. However, Daniel wasn't ready to bend on his rule of not getting close with any of his employees, but Rhoda was ready to break that principle and become his girlfriend. So she moves closer and kisses him. Daniel pushed her away and quickly stood up and rushed to the bathroom to wash his face. As Daniel entered the room, he said to Rhoda," I'm sorry for leading you on" and she said nothing to be sorry about, so she stood up and put her hands on his shoulder. And gazed into his eyes, making it very hard for him to resist her. Daniel said," I admit you are a big temptation to me today. No dear, you have been a big temptation to me all this year. She said," I love smart people, and you are a package of smartness, so you have been my weakness all this while. At that point, she notices they both share a passionate kiss, but she notices Daniel wasn't ready to let his walls down. She said to the boss, this means a lot to me, and she picked up her bag and left the room. Daniel was seriously confused because he had already started to develop feelings for her, at the same time he was feeling awkward about the passionate kiss they both shared.

In addition to put an end to his misery, he picked up his laptop and started trading, so that he could take about his mind about all that had just happened between him and his assistant. However, every time a message dropped on his phone, he would rush to pick it up, because he was expecting it, and he had heard from Rhoda and had kept on asking why he had not texted him or saying anything about what happened to us. So he slept off and woke up in the middle of the night. He checked his phone and saw that Rhoda had left a message but work activities reports he was disappointed, so Daniel said, I guess"had not happened between us. Very early the next morning, Daniel's phone rang. It was Wendy. Hello, are you still sleeping, Wendy asked? No, I was just trying to clean up the mess I made at my work last night, Daniel replied. When he lost concentration on the trade, he lost three thousand dollars on the forex market. Wendy asked? Are we still going out as planned today? Why didn't Daniel answer? I will join you soon. So he dressed up and met Wendy at the junction as they had planned before. They both proceeded to the Royal Hotel, not too far from the City Center hotel. Daniel had booked a room in the hotel, but they both sat out in the bar to enjoy themselves first before going into the room to have a rest. As they were eating, Wendy said," You love her, don't you? Who did Daniel ask? The lady that came to visit you yesterday. Daniel said," Don't even say that she is my personal assistant", Wendy responded, but it looks to me like we are both having an affair. Daniel looked at Wendy with an angry face and said" Please, and please don't say that again". Wendy asked why she wanted to blow her phone up, because Daniel saved Rhoda's name with my speedy and added her picture to it.

Daniel got angry and stood up, and I went back to the city center hotel. Wendy quickly stood up and apologized, so they both went into the room and own themselves. Later that evening, Daniel returned to the city center hotel. As he saw Ella, he realized that fifty percent of his Playboy mission was accomplished. All that was left for him to do was to sleep with Ella, then he could go to his hometown, so he decided to step up his game, so he could sleep with Ella that same day or the next day. Seeing Ella at the reception table, he kept on looking at her. Ella said, Mr Daniel, stop you are embarrassing me and CCTV is everywhere my manager may be watching. Daniel replied," You are so beautiful, please be my girlfriend." She replied" I don't want to". Daniel smiled at his room key and went to his room. He sat down, his phone rang, and it was Rhoda. She said hello sir. Daniel replied," Hello how are you". What is the matter? The Singapore company wants to speak with you, but I couldn't get hold of you and want the meeting until Monday. Daniel replied very well," then you've done great." Just remind me of that Monday so that I will make myself available for them. Rhonda replied, I also check your trade account, but I found that you lost three thousand dollars straight up on the market and that has never happened in a long time. Hope all is well. She spoke innocently as if nothing had happened between them. Daniel said, all was well. I will get it back. As they were speaking, someone knocked on the door. Daniel asked who that was and Ella responded, it was me Ella, so Daniel called the phone with Rhoda. Daniel open the door and grabbed her hand to drug inside the room. She asked and asked," Are you enjoying your stay here?" Daniel replied to her," Will it be like you accepted to be my girlfriend," Ella replied seriously? So you want to use me and run back to the United States. Please, I don't want my heart to be shattered, and besides, I was told that your girlfriend came here yesterday, and she was like a supermodel guy. He was the topic of all the guys today. Daniel, who's a pro at making ladies fall for him, moved slowly towards Ella and maintained smart eye contact. With a soft tone, he said, She is my mine. She is not my girlfriend. Ella's heart raced at the cuteness on his lips, she wanted to just kiss him right away. She asked how I would believe him?
