THE PLOT

Daniel Laurence was the Chairperson of the Rotex Group Of Companies. Right before the companies became a group, there were three different multi-million-dollar companies, running simultaneously under the leadership of Daniel Laurence.  The first company was Axe Capital, a company running as a hedge fund and investment management company. With over seven hundred investors across the globe, trading and making a profit via foreign exchange and cryptocurrency trade, during the pandemic outbreak the company made over seven hundred and eighty-six million dollars by trading on the foreign exchange market. The second company was Rex Media, a media company. At twenty-sixteen, before the crisis began in Daniel's life. The company was the top trending media company in Cape Town, South Africa. In the year twenty-nineteen, the company won the Best Media Company in the whole of South Africa. The third company was Rotex Fashion Company in London, United Kingdom. The company wasn't doing very well because it was established in an English country and the company faced a lot of persecution from the authorities in the country as it was established by a black man. However, Daniel never gives up on the company. Daniel Laurence was a definition of a business tycoon. Daniel Laurence was an African American citizen. He was born into the family of Chief Fijabi Laurence, the most powerful politician in Oyo state, Ibadan and one of the top powerful politicians in Nigeria. Daniel's father had seven wives and a total of twenty-six daughters and one son, which made Daniel a special child and the centre of attention in the family. However, Daniel's father knew the kind of danger that awaited his son in the future, since he was the only son, his mother was the envy of other wives,  and so many political targets awaited Daniel, so his father sent him away and Daniel became a ghost. He never had anything to do with his family's wealth. Eventually, his riches, without support from his father, brought him out and made him become the centre of attention again, but no harm could come to him because he was very smart and extremely careful. However, all that flew out of the window because of one decision he made in the year twenty-twenty.

On the tenth day of March twenty twenty, as the pandemic began to take over the world, Daniel decided to move out of Washington DC, United States of America to Nigeria, which wasn't a bad decision, but the decision to stay back after the pandemic was the beginning of his problem. Daniel had a female personal assistant by the name of Rhoda Johnson. Even though Rhoda wasn't in the United States, she was good at her job as personal assistant to Daniel. Over the Year they both grew Romantic feelings for each other Daniel,  however, had high principles of not getting involved with his employees romantically, even though there was rumour in the company that Miss Rhoda Johnson and her boss were Lovers they both carefree about the rumour and continue to show passionate care for each other. Rhoda was a  beautiful smart lady who took her job very seriously and she was given the nickname  Speedy because of her punctuality and Swift delivery to any tasks given to her.

Daniel arrived at Muritala Muhammad International Airport, Nigeria at one twenty am in the morning, with nobody to welcome him back home because it wasn't known to anyone in his family. So he

took a taxi from the airport to the City Center hotel in Lagos Nigeria, he wanted to rest in Lagos for that day and proceed to his home town Ibadan the following day. As he arrived at the hotel, with the taxi driver carrying his luggage for him they both walked slowly to the receptionist, and she super attractive her smile was one of a kind and she said welcome sir how can we help you sir? Daniel replied to her with a smile and said you know what I want, obviously I need a room. The receptionist Lady was very very beautiful, she brought out the list of their room and gave it to Daniel to choose the room he wanted, as Daniel went through the list carefully he picked one of their executive room, and brought out his credit card and made payment. Daniel said you look so gorgeous what's your name he asked. With a  beautiful smile, she replied with a soft tone Thank you, my name is Ella, so she grabbed one of Daniel's boxes and led him to his room. As they entered while Daniel was still taking a glance at the room, Ella said enjoy your stay Mr Daniel, but the tone of voice was Very romantic and Inviting,  Daniel said in his mind, wait a minute did she just gave me a sign or am overthinking, instantly Daniel's Playboy mood was activated. As he thinks of what to do about Ella he remembers he has to go to his home town but he has a little problem, he can't go to his father's house, because of problems he may face there and since he has plans to stay long in the country he doesn't want to be spending money on hotel bills, so he needed where to stay for a little while so he called his immediate younger sister Rachel who was married to Daniel's childhood friend Emmanuel, as the phone ring Rachel pick up and ask who is this? to her surprise it was Daniel, and she asks him brother why are you calling me with a Nigerian number?  Daniel replied because I'm in Lagos, why are you in Lagos, we spoke three days ago you never said anything about coming home why do keep behaving like a ghost or someone who is on the grab, if you told me that you are coming, someone would have come to pick up, Rachel reply him with anger and frustration in her voice, Daniel reply her relax little sister iam not a child am your older brother remember, so I can take care of myself, you don't understand brother Nigeria is not like America, things are a little rough here since the beginning of this pandemic, everyone is living with care, you could land yourself in danger, Daniel responded with a deep voice, Rachel iam fine. The main reason I called is to ask if I can stay with you and your family for a while since I will be staying long in Nigeria I can't go home and I don't want to spend money on hotels, at least till fix my place. Rachel replied Brother that will not be possible, because I need to discuss this with my husband, even though he's your friend I need to tell him first, you know what is going on around the world now everyone is afraid, I'm sorry my brother. Daniel knew Rachel would never allow her to come to stay at her place, so he ended the conversation with her and said I understand you, Rachel, extend my greetings to your husband and your daughter good night kid,  Rachel smiled because he has always called her kid from when they were little. It was already three-fifty am.

Daniel immediately put a call through his second younger sister Gold who was also married to one Mister Samson Mark, when the phone rang it was Mister Samson who picked up and asked who is this? Daniel replies it's me, Daniel, Samson was so excited to hear his voice because he had been helping his family so much in the area of finance, He quickly woke his wife up and gave her the phone and she said Big Brother how are you? Daniel replied good and fine am in Lagos, she screamed Jesus, why did you come without telling anyone, must you keep up with your ghost character, don't you know how dangerous Nigeria can be? Daniel said iam okay, why is everyone talking as if I am a child, am I an adult For shake, Rachel said the same thing, Gold asked have you called her? Daniel said yes, and he began to narrate the story of how he wanted to stay long in Nigeria, Gold understand his point, so she cut him and said big brother come and stay with us, Is your husband aware of this daniel ask her? Both she and the husband responded with excitement so they ended the call and he fell asleep in the early hours of the morning.
