A young male who appeared to be around the age of sixteen could be seen laying down on a bed as he was staring at the screen of a phone, a pair of Bluetooth headphones placed over his ears. The boy had a lean build along with having seemingly perfect fair skin, he also had black straight hair along with a pair of seemingly tired eyes.

His attire was pretty simple as he was currently wearing a simple tight white t-shirt along with a pair of black shorts, and obviously underwear underneath. The room he was in had numerous different instruments as well as recording devices such as cameras, lights, and microphones. Though, there were of course things like drawers, a bed, a desk with a computer setup, and more.

This was Hiyato Ryugen, and while it may very well sound insane, he was someone who had recently been reborn. Well, recently isn't really the word, he had been born once again as a baby and had been living in this world for sixteen years now. This was all possible due to the kindness in which God had shown him.

The reason for his death was merely due to exhaustion and stress.

When you were a famous idol, massive responsibilities and expectations are placed on you. He had been able to keep up with all of it, but everyone had a limit no matter how good they were. He had composed countless songs, even in different languages, but this had of course eventually taken its toll and he just collapsed.

'Not gonna lie... the music in this world is meh.'

The young male thought to himself as he was currently watching a music video that had been recently uploaded by a rather popular singer in this new world, they had around six million subscribers on this world's version of Youtube, which was called Viitube, which he really couldn't get used to as Youtube was still stuck in his mind as the true name.

The video was like your typical music video, different kinds of shots, different visual effects, along with either acting or dancing as the music played. This video, in particular, had the singer dancing along with a few background dancers. It honestly wasn't too impressive as the effects were meh, and the dancing was somewhat decent.

He may be biased, but he personally believed the music composed back in his old world completely trampled over the music in this world.

He frowned as he looked at the expressions that the artist was making throughout the video, and he could not only see that the person was unmotivated, but also that their dancing was a bit lazy in nature. They were good moves, just executed rather.. horribly. It was like this singer had just given up performing to enjoy, it seemed more like they just wanted to get it done with.

He would have to say that this person was probably stressed out like he was in his previous life. Though, despite the stress that Ryugen, or Ryu for simpler terms, he gave it his absolute best in every video he made along with every live performance he did. He truly did enjoy making music, it was a passion for him.

For this singer he was watching though... they were most likely in it for the money. The performance speaks it all.

Ryu gave a small sigh before turning off the headphones and turning off his phone as he then sat up before hopping off of his bed. Maybe he was just looking in the wrong places for the great musicians in this world. He was very familiar with the idea that the best players were most of the time in the dark and had yet to truly shine.

That was how it was for him.

He had always just made music in his spare time for himself to enjoy as well as others when he posted them on the internet, and it took time before a lot of people began to take notice of him. It was at that point that his popularity had spiked like crazy and he ended up performing live as well as becoming a sponsored musician and idol.

It was a life that he thought that he would enjoy, not for the luxuries, but for the enjoyment of being able to share your music across the world. True, millions upon millions listened and watched his songs on the internet, but while a lot, there were only so many that would look on the internet, and some people don't even use the internet.

Which was kind of crazy in his ears.

Thus, he decided to go worldwide to deliver all kinds of song performances.

"Maybe I should try making videos again..." Ryu thought to himself as he held his chin in thought. He knew that would be a may for him to not only make money for his family. They weren't poor, quite the opposite actually. But, he did want to start earning his own money. 'Though, I might risk getting calls for contracts again... I guess I can just ignore them.'

If it comes to it, he could just completely disregard those people and ignore them entirely. He could only hope though that they don't end up getting his number in some way.

If he did livestreams, it was pretty quick to make money if he got a big enough audience. Well, it would also matter how generous his viewers would be. He had yet to find a job that he could easily balance out with school, so he'll probably do this alongside a simple job if he were to find one. Making music and having a part-time job would be good enough through the remaining school years.

"Hm?"

Ryu was snapped out of his thoughts as he heard his phone ringing. Turning around, he picked his phone back up, which was on the bed after he had stood up. He then checked the caller and saw that he was getting a call by someone by the name of 'Yumiya Izayoi'. He didn't appear too surprised though.

Why would he be?

Izayoi was actually someone from school that he had become friends with during the start of the first year of highschool, in others words, the beginning of last year. Ryu quickly answered the call before holding the phone up to his ear and speaking.

"Hello?"

[Yo, Ryu! Are you perhaps busy this afternoon?]

"Shouldn't be, why?"

[Well, Tsukasa and I were thinking of hanging out at the skate park this afternoon at around three or so. We were wondering if you wanted to join. We wanted to do something before school starts back up again for this year]

"Sure, why not? Three, right?"

[Yeah! It's the skate park that's just south of the school]

"Oh, that one. I'll see you guys there then."

[Great! See ya!]

With that, Ryu ended the call before stretching a bit as he then looked towards computer, which had a microphone set up as well as another pair of headphones directly connected to the computer through a wire. He then shrugged before walking on over and pulling out his chair and sat down, he might as well get everything set up.

That being his accounts if he was going to uploading music and stuff on different platforms, that being Viitube and a streaming platform. He might as well share the old songs that he had composed back in his old world with this one, as well as creating new ones. He wanted to see how people would react to the songs he had composed in the past.

A few hours had passed as it was almost three, which was the time that Ryu had agreed to meet up with his friends at the skate park. There was around forty or so minutes before it became three, so there was really no rush as the park was like a ten-minute walk, and even less time if he were to rise his skateboard there.

Ryu had already finished setting up all the things he needed to start his video making, having already set up the accounts as well as creating the logo he used previously in his old world before he became a worldwide idol. He already made things like his channel art as well as creating accounts for social media accounts.

There was this famous social media platform that was pretty much the exact same as Instagram, in fact, it WAS Instagram. The app was called Instagram, it seemed that this world didn't have an altered version of it but the actual genuine thing. Not like he was going to complain.

Anyway, he was now having some dinner since he didn't want to get too hungry as he skated. He could always end up buying food, but might as well eat in advance just in case something happens.

"Big bro, these idols are impressive. But, to be honest..." A young voice could be heard speaking. Ryu turned his head to see his younger brother, Yuto, was staring at the television screen which was displaying what appeared to be a group of idols dancing and singing. The young boy giving a small frown with a tilt of his head. "They aren't as good as you..."

"Meh, I don't know..." Ryu shrugged.

Yuto was the youngest in the family, being the age of eight. He had a lean build along with fair skin, much like Ryu. Yuto had hair similar to Ryu, but just shorter compared to him, along with having the same coloured eyes but Yuto's being more rounded compared to Ryu. Yuto admired Ryu for his talents and aspired to be much like him, that's why he had ended up gaining an interest in the music industry due to hearing Ryu play.

Yuto had asked Ryu to teach him how to play the guitar, so Ryu had been tutoring him for the past few days.

"Mom and dad keep telling you to find a girlfriend, Takuo. Why don't you try?"

"You're not trying either. Plus, I'm pretty busy."

The one that Ryu was now speaking with was Takuo, the eldest brother in the family, making Ryu the middle child. Takuo had smooth black hair that was swept to the right and had a pair of sharp eyes that were the same colour as his sibling, having also the same fair skin. His build was more muscular compared to the other two, which wasn't too surprising. Takuo being seventeen as of right now.

"Dude, you have good looks along with being smart. Plus, you're pretty good at sports."

'Look who's talking... He has good looks too, along with a pretty built frame, and even being really talented in drawing, coding, sports, music and more...' Takuo thought to himself with a deadpanned look. Takuo shook his head as he took a small sip of his coffee as he looked at Ryu, who was just quietly eating. "You really underestimate yourself..."

"Do I?"

"Yes..."

"Meh, I don't really see it." While Ryu didn't want to boast, he did know he was pretty decent at music, he would need to be if he got as far as he did in the past. Though, he knew for a fact that he wasn't the most talented singer or dancer he had ever known, there were plenty of others he knew of back in his old world. "Thanks for the food."

With that, Ryu stood up from his seat before taking his plate to the sink and quickly cleaning it before placing it into the drying rack. He then grabbed his skateboard that was resting against the wall before walking towards the door.

"I'll be back later. Just tell mom and dad that I went to hang out with my friends if they end up getting home before I do."

"Got it, have fun out there. Be careful."

"Have fun, big bro!"
