Percy's POV
Luther had skipped work today because he wanted to be around when the little miss returned. He didn't show this type of worry when Elisa took those crazy solo trips. Well, Elisa wasn't the one being targeted now. I was also seated in front of the gate with him, so I shouldn't be one to talk.
Second came out and sighed when he saw us both. "They've arrived. I told the driver to come from the back because of when she moved out earlier."
Luther and I snapped our heads to him. We were waiting for her, and she was already inside? Why didn't he let us know his plans before making us look like fools?
She walked out from the house and paused when she saw us sitting by the gate. "Um... good afternoon, Luther." Her eyes went to me, and she threw a "hey."
