Aftermath

The school had declared Holiday and that was the right thing to do, because there was no way anybody could explain the students about the mass destruction that was caused on the school campus after yesterday's incident.

"What are you doing?" I asked with a frown when Xenovia came and stood next to me at the kitchen counter.

"That girl." Xenovia said by glancing at Ophis, who was in the living room with Irina, "Who is she?"

"She's Ophis, the neighbour's daughter." I replied simply and continued to prepare the breakfast.

"Then what's her last name?" Xenovia persisted on the topic, "Why does she spend most of the time at your house all the day?"

"Okay, I am defeated." I stated in surrender and sighed, "I have kidnapped her."

"K-Kidnapped?" Xenovia was startled by my confession and also slightly creeped out, "Why would you do that?"

"I have a habit of kidnapping cute little girls." I nodded wisely at my statement.

"You're teasing me." Xenovia realised and glared at me, "Just say that you don't want to tell me, because you don't trust me."

"Trust me." I smirked, "You don't want to know who that girl is."

"Urgh." Xenovia grumbled irritatedly and went back to the living room.

Later, I served them the breakfast on the Dinning table and we ate together.

"So, what's the plan?" I asked curiously.

"We have contacted the Church and mailed them about what happened yesterday." Xenovia was the one to reply, "Sorry, but we had to inform them about your true identity as well, because you were the one who killed Kokabiel."

"So you basically told the Church that Maou Sirzechs Lucifer has a son and you're staying at his home." I gave them a dumbfounded stare, "I don't know if I should call that stupidity or a mistake."

"Don't worry, I also described how you were able to wield the Holy Sword Excalibur Ruler and also managed to collect all the fragments of Excalibur into your body." Irina stated with an innocent smile.

'That's even worse.' I wanted to say, but I didn't have the courage to hurt Irina's feelings after what had happened yesterday.

'If I am going to call her a stupid bitch on her face, then probably I should wait until she has recovered from her trauma of God's death.' I thought wisely, 'Though, it befits her personality. Pure, innocent and stuff like that.'

"You managed to collect all the Excalibur Fragments?" Ophis gave me an impressed look and Xenovia immediately narrowed her eyes at me.

"For all I care, Heavens would be on my door step any time now." I shrugged nonchalantly and continued to eat my breakfast, 'I hope not.' I really did not wanted to deal with the Heaven, because people like them could be a real pain in the ass.

"Xenovia and I.." Irina hesitated to speak further and looked at her friend for support.

"We wish to continue staying with you at your house." Xenovia completed the sentence for her.

'Wait..' I choked on my food and immediately drank some water to swallow it down, "What?!" I was louder than I expected.

"Y-Yes." Irina replied nervously, "I don't want to be a part of Church anymore, because I feel like I've been betrayed by them."

"I feel the same." Xenovia nodded along, "My believes have been ridiculed and mocked by the Heavens. I always thought God is watching me and my actions, but no, he was never there to begin with."

"From now onwards, I wish to devote my life to myself and you." Xenovia stated firmly, "Marry me, Alexander Kitagawa."

"What?!" Irina yelled in shock with a flustered expression.

"Yeah, what?" I gave her a dumb stare, "You can't just propose me for marriage, Xenovia. That's not how it works." I nonchalantly waved off to her, "I reject your proposal."

"I apologise, because I have not been taught the social etiquette and mannerisms by the Church." Xenovia replied genuinely, "I only know to say whatever I feel is right. I don't say things that directly come to my mind, I always think before speaking anything of importance. So, when I say I want to marry you, I thought about it the whole night before confirming the feelings I have for you."

"Unfortunately, I don't share the same feelings." I smiled at her, "Not to mention, we are not even at the age to be married anyways."

"So that's the reason you rejected me!" Xenovia cheered up with a brilliant smile and thoughtfully nodded to herself, "I understand it very well. We have a lot of time to work on our relationship."

"Urgh.." I groaned and chose to ignore her for now, "What about you, Irina?" I turned to my childhood friend, "What will your father have to say when he hears about this?"

"I'll tell him that I am joining your Peerage and its a decision I have made for myself." Irina replied seriously, "I am sure he would understand."

"Again, unfortunately, I don't have a Peerage." I shrugged in response, "I don't even know how to create one."

"Then just think of me as your Knight then." Irina beamed at me.

"Me too!" Xenovia immediately joined in.

"I will be your Queen." Ophis declared and that slightly caught me off guard.

"What?" Today was proving to be a hectic day for me, "Let's just drop this topic, okay?" I stood up by finishing my breakfast and levitated the empty plates to the sink, "Today is holiday and the weekend starts tomorrow, so we have three days in total to enjoy ourselves. Any suggestions?"

I casted the chore spell on the sink to start washing the dishes.

"Amusement park?" Irina suggested.

"Movies?" Xenovia curiously titled her head, "I have not been to a theatre or seen any Japanese movies before."

"We can go to the amusement park tomorrow." Irina stated with a joyous smile, "Let's go watch some movies today."

"Movies!" Ophis cheered by pumping her fist in the air.

"Do note, you are going to wear a proper outfit when we are in public place, okay?" I reprimanded Ophis, "The gothic Lolita appearance is not going to work."

Even if I was going to place the disillusionment spell on us, I wanted Ophis to dress well.

"I'll select the dress for her!" Irina immediately grabbed the opportunity for the task.

"Alright, I can trust your fashion sense." I nodded in response, "I'll see if I can book tickets online." I stated and went to my room.

Although, when I took my phone from the charging desk, I saw that Aika had sent me a few messages regarding yesterday.

'She must be anxious.' I realised and wrote her back, 'Should I invite her with us today? It's only the movies and she could use the company.' I thought and decided to invite her as well.

Though, I warned her not to be her usual perverted self, because there was a kid accompanying us. If not for the underage warning, I am sure she would surely act opposite to what I am telling her to do.

'Ophis can be useful.' I chuckled to myself and started looking for the tickets.
