Chapter 1

This all began when I was almost fifteen, life has not been all that easy in the first place my family of six has always been struggling doing all sort of manual jobs to make hands meet. My mom was all almost the bread winner of the house wife who goes from one local market to another buying and selling foodstuffs, dad does almost all kind of manual labours, but the little he get goes to drinking and gambling.

I and my three siblings go to school in the morning, while in the afternoon we involve our self in various domestic activities we can do for our neighbors in other to get paid by the end of the week or month pending on how generous they are.

I am currently in college and rounding up in two years, my siblings are all younger than me, Lina my sister is five, Dan and Dave are ten they are both twin and very hardworking and intelligent but they are both very weak and sickly more than half of the family income goes to buying their drugs and attending to their medical emergencies.

My Dad is always drunk and he always abuses my mom when he is at it.

This is not the life I wish or ask for but I have to leave it through no mater the obstacles but it seems I can't get through it .
