The Protagonist of a Rip-off Dating Sim

Being reborn in [Villain Only Wants to Live a Buddhist Life] is hard, especially when you are White Gawd, the overshadowed protagonist of a dating sim that rips off from so many different series, that the only reason it wasn't sued was because it was limited to China. Making Friends

After White finished comparing his system to Dark's, he realized that they were basically the same, except inversed.

Dark's system relied on the seven sins, while his relied on the seven virtues. Not to mention his comes from the Demon God while White's came from the Holy God. White looked towards Dark Demon, who was elegantly eating from his plate and sneaking glances at him.

This Dark should be the transmigrated one, since he was checking on the main character. Especially, since the cute girl next to him, Diana Great-Bayer, only appeared next to the transmigrated Dark.

"Hello, may I sit here?"

White's train of thought was cut off as a voice sounded right next to him.

"No problem, the space is free anyway."

"Thanks."

The boy who had spoken sat right next to White, the space being clear as the other members of the Knight House were too nervous to approach him.

"My name is Justin, Justin Wayne. Is it true that you're the son of Bright Gawd, the hero?"

This guy was Justin Wayne? He was a rather unique side character, consistently getting good placements despite not being mentioned much. His father was one of the small captains of the Griffon Knight Group, one of the Kingdom's five Great Knight regiments.

"Yeah, Bright Gawd is my father, though I didn't have a clue until Principal Arte took me from the orphanage."

Justin seemed taken aback by his statement but tried to comfort him.

"Hey man, it's ok. You're still the son of the [Hero], so you still have the innate talent to be a magister. In fact, Bright Gawd used a [Holy Sword] Magic card, did he not?"

"Yeah, he did. In fact, Principal Arte gave it me when I arrived at the academy, said my father would have wanted me to have it."

"Really? I didn't think they would give you such a powerful Magic card right of the bat but considering that it would take a while to get rid of the imprint, I guess that makes sense. But anyway, what I was trying to say is that maybe we could meet up in the training hall and I could show you some moves?"

White considered the offer and then agreed. Justin Wayne was shown to have the personality and style of a knight, and even based his whole deck on the concept. Not to mention that he really needed the training, considering that he was fresh from the orphanage.

This was also the perfect opportunity to make a friend group outside his original one. In the game, he was in a trio with Robert Brogheim and Emma Mortis.

Emma Mortis was the knowledge seeking know-it-all while Brogheim was the dumb extrovert. When Demon transmigrated, he had accidently destroyed the friend group, making Emma not join, which forced White down into Robert's level.

He would rather take the diligent Justin as his friend than the magic chess obsessed Robert. Though he would still befriend Emma Mortis if the opportunity came up.

The banquet continued as White, and Justin talked over their meals, mostly about their childhoods and the expectations they had for the upcoming school year. White even managed to reign in his gluttony, eating in small, mannered bites instead of stuffing his face in.

When the opening came to end, Principal Arte once again came to the stage to the cheers of the students.

"After you go back, don't forget to use the branch card to check the school rules. Finally, I wish the freshmen of Saint Marian Academy to find their own value in the next six years of learning!"

White went to the Knight house section with Justin before they separated to go to their dorm rooms.

The dormitory is a single dormitory, that not only has a soft big bed, but also has a separate bathroom.

There were brand-new daily necessities and a set of first-grade textbooks on the bed.

White made the bed, while his tired brain was working overtime to make sense of his fragmented experience.

"Think about it tomorrow!"

...

It's just dawn.

White opened his eyes wearily, and there was a copper wall clock on the wall opposite to the head of the bed, and the hour hand had just pointed to six o'clock.

"Six o'clock? It seems that class is at eight o'clock... I should wake up!"

[Diligence +1]

With an extra step of energy gained from the system reminder, White got ready and went to the common room on the first floor.

Noble House's school uniform was black, blue-rimmed with a small lance on the chest. The Academy also gave it a card pack of the same style that can hold 21 Magic Cards.

The common room was very quiet, and the magic light on the wall will automatically light up when someone arrives.

White found a place to sit down with a look of determination, and then took out the textbooks from his shoulder bag one after another.

The summoning class is set as the first class on Monday to teach the freshmen how to get the summon from the branch card out!

Under the slightly dim light, White opened the textbook and started to preview it in the common room without a second person.

Suddenly, the magic light lit up as a girl entered the common room with books in hand. The female student had brown hair, with a round baby face. White recognized the girl as Emma Mortis, who was a fellow member of Knight house and a member of the original three.

Emma was also surprised, seeing White in the common room before her, studying the textbooks. She had woken up early just to study but didn't expect White to get their first. As expected of the son of the [Hero]!

With a look of admiration, she set down her books before offering a hand to White.

"Hello, I'm Emma Mortis. Are you also reading the books for the summoning class? They're so fascinating! Although I learned some of this from my mom, the Saint Marian books are much more accurate, right?"

White smiled as he saw her enthusiasm.

"Yeah, I heard that the textbooks are custom-made by the professors, who are all masters of their field."

That was how White, and Emma spent an hour and a half, talking about their book materials and the accomplishments of their various professors. Thankfully, they were interrupted by the arrival of their fellow housemates and made it to class on time.
