“This is so great. Better than when we were kids, huh, Luka?”
Luka grinned. “Definitely.” He glanced at the empty chairs surrounding the table. “I’ll call the kids and let Garrett know it’s ready.”
“Thanks,” Jacob said. He was glad Garrett was spending the holiday with them. Adam had ended up going to his parents, but Garrett didn’t really have anyone to celebrate with.
“Kids! Garrett! Turkey’s ready!”
“Could you have called any louder?” Jacob teased. “I’m not sure the people down the street could hear you.”
Luka stuck out his tongue and made his way to the table. Jacob felt himself blush as thoughts of how he wanted that tongue on his body flooded his mind.
“You got it pretty bad for my pal Luka, don’t you?” Patrick whispered as he leaned in close.
The heat in Jacob’s face intensified. “That obvious?”
“Hell, yes,” Patrick said with a grin and a wink.
Jacob laughed. He was too happy to be embarrassed that he wore his heart on his sleeve.
