Liviana's POV
Alexander breathed out after few seconds, releasing the tension build up inside him. I looked at Connor, who is currently staring at Dominique. His eyes changed when he is looking at his mate. They are soft and twinkling in admiration. I would feel different while looking at them if we are not enemies.
"Enjoy the party, gentlemen." I said before turning our back on them as I pull Alexander with me. "Dominique, Nicholas, let's go." I said, and they follow us.
We went straight to our reserved table, where food and drinks were already served. We all sit quietly, and I noticed Dominique's facial expression. "Dominique, what's wrong?" I asked.
She instantly looked at me as she smiled. "I feel guilty." She said, and then she looked at Alexander shyly. "I would like to apologize, Alpha. Sorry for not telling you about it sooner." She said, and Alexander looked at her intently as he breathed out.
