Hadyan did not dare touch Tasia. He just continued to stare and follow the steps of his empress with a very worried look, keeping the woman's wobbly footsteps for the fear she was too weak to be steady on her feet.
Once Tasia sat on the bed, slowly, the healers began to approach her.
"Don't open it.." Tasia warned by tightening her head cover. Her hoarse voice sounded almost gone with a quivering tone.
"Do not open!" Hadyan ordered, reaffirming them all. They immediately nodded.
"Pardon me, Empress. Will you allow me to check the pulse on your wrist?" The healer asked respectfully. Then, Tasia stuck out her left hand with a bit of hesitation.
"Thank you, Empress." The healer said before grabbing the woman's limp hand and checking her pulse with his fingers.
