Chapter 3

They boarded the ship and were escorted to their room. They wore disguises so as not to be recognized and registered under fake names. Once they put their belongings away, they took off their disguises and flopped down onto the bed. They smiled at each other and shared a chaste kiss, then turned off the lights and laid next to each other to try and get some rest, and to ease their nerves. When they woke up it was morning and they had both forgotten what happened, but when all the memories came flooding back they delightedly smiled and rolled over to face each other. "Hi Damien." Damien smiled and replied, "Morning Lyor." They both just spent a moment together before getting up and getting ready for the day. They dressed in casual clothes and went to the dining room to get some breakfast. Damien got eggs, bacon, and a piece of toast and Lyor got some pancakes, eggs, and orange juice. The two men ate their breakfast quietly, and afterwards went for a walk around the cruise ship. There was only about 2 inches of space between them and Damien took advantage of that. He slowly intertwined their pinkies and when Lyor didn't pull away, he pulled their hands together and they continued to walk with a slight blush dusting over their cheeks. They went back to their room and got some board shorts, then hopped in the pool together. They played volleyball and swam around, occasionally giving each other a peck on the lip or cheek. They swam for about an hour before going onto the lawn chairs and drying off in the sun, once again holding hands. For lunch they got sandwiches and fruit salad, and for the rest of the night they simply explored the boat and ate dinner. When they got back to their room they went to sleep almost immediately, happily wrapping around each other and falling asleep. The rest of the boat ride was pretty similar to the first day, and the closer they got to the U.S., the more excited, but more nervous they got as well. It was thrilling and unplanned and the best and worst idea they ever had. But they were in love, and they wanted to live together. Meanwhile back at the palaces, the two kings and two queens got together to discuss the disappearances of their sons. That's when Damien's parents came clean about Damien's sexuality, and his opposition to marry Clara.
