The Academy(1)

All Empires scattered across the world of New Haven had one unique rule in common. It was All youths at the age of twenty, whether awakened or not we're to be enrolled in their Empire's military academy for military training. No one knew when New Haven would also suffer an alien attack so the Kings unanimously agreed to be prepared in advance.

Alan was very much aware of it because the military had already sent him an email concerning this matter but due to the incidents that occurred today , he completely forgot that an officer would be coming to pick him up. Glancing at the officer who was probably wondering why he had returned half naked and looking extremely fatigued as well, Alan sighed in relief when he noticed that the officer couldn't see the old man who stood beside him.

"Sorry I made you wait officer", Alan said with a guilty face, "....but do you mind if I go inside to change."

"That won't be necessary " the officer responded and before Alan could say another word, his vision went dark and he fell to the floor.

The old man , standing beside him looked relieved for some reason and muttered;

"Well that spares me the effort of doing it myself".

He sighed deeply while still looking at him and gave a final order before completely disappearing.

"Reboot"

Alan woke up only to find himself on a large field surrounded by countless students.

" it seems the last person is finally up "

he heard someone say to the crowd and looking around he noticed countless gazes on him.

" His ability is probably trash or maybe he hasn't awakened at all"

He heard someone say and seeing their arrogant gazes on him, he realized that they were talking about him.

Strangely enough he was not affected by it but n the least but rather he had this feeling that he was forgetting something important but someway somehow he couldn't place a finger on it.

"Welcome to the Chambord military academy"

it was there Allan noticed a group of people standing on the podium mounted in front of the crowd and looking at them he assumed they where their instructors. The guy who just spoke was a burly looking man and completely black combat armour he had a huge scar and was giving off an intimidating pressure causing the chattering crowd to instantly go quiet.

Because he was still in his weakened state, Allan's body couldn't handle the pressure emitted by him causing him to fall on his knees. He once again felt countless gazes on him including that of the scar face instructor who had an incredulous expression on his face after all, even the non- awakeneds were still on their feet

"Is he that weak"
